Anyone know the results from the Crockett County-Ripley or Bradford-Halls games from Tuesday night. Trying to keep my standings up to date. It's tough enough keeping up with all the rescheduled games.

Come on Jackson Sun,Union City Messenger,Radio Station from Martin...Look at the overall body of the schedule..Not because a team is local Not that I feel the need to defend myself, but I am listing my vote from this past week. I can also assure you that my pal Mike Hutchens at the UC Messenger is not a "homer" either and takes his work quite seriously. WCMT Ballot for week of 1/25 1 Jackson Co. 2 Lake Co. 3 Clarkrange 4 Middleton 5 Greenfield 6 Gleason 7 Telllico Plains 8 Pickett Co. 9 Forrest 10 Cornersville I've voted Jackson Co. #1 each week. They are the team to beat in Class A. The two survivors from West Tennessee will represent us well whoever they end up being.

Having some trouble getting reports from the new members of 13AA. They don't always report to Jackson Sun or Commerical Appeal and no one seems to post scores on scoreboard here. I need who won this key 13AA boys game from last Friday.

The same voters that dont get out to watch any of the games and know nothing about West Tenn teams and the same voters that voted 3 girls all state last year in Single A that came in about 4th place in their own district and have no idea who T.T. Flowers was ! Bigster, thou needest to know of what you speak. The Associated Press voters, which I am a member of, granted West Tennessee more than its fair share of spots in the respective polls this week. The slight of T.T. that you can't get over from last year was by a different organization, The Tennessee Sports Writers Association. Yes, many of the members are the same but we work at trying to have a good AP poll. I thought that all-state team was a little skewed myself. To answer the original query about not voting for Gibson County, some will be a bit blinded by a local team and give a #1 vote to a local over an obvious choice but GC was still a clear #1 overall. That's the important thing.

Usually one can except when no "one" has posted the score. This is not my first rodeo cowboy, I exhausted usual sources before I asked on the message board. Must be a Jackson Sun fan. Thanks Bigster.

Who won this showdown for 1st place in 13AA? Can't believe this score wasn't in the Jackson Sun. Oh wait, Ripley isn't in their "coverage area."

According to a highly placed source at the newspaper, they do not sell enough papers in Obion & Lake counties to consider them within their "coverage area." I noticed that Dyer & Lauderdale counties are also not included which caused Dyer County & Ripley boys to be left out of their boys dirty dozen. Guess it's just a coincidence that Obion & Dyer Counties both have daily newspapers with Lake & Lauderdale bordering those counties. Guess I'm going to have to find the time to do my West Tenn. Rural Top 10 again. I always include all teams outside Shelby County, even if our radio signal doesn't reach there!

Is there not someone who at least knows who won this game on the 18th? Dyersburg State-Gazette Sports has apparently gone into hibernation for Christmas and it must not have been reported to the Commercial Appeal.

The radio station is not at Westview, it is located in Martin and we cover all of Weakley County as well as others in Northwest Tennessee. What an ignorant comment! We interview Lyle from time to time in addition to Head Coach Sean Stephenson, but not in place of. Taking thunder away? Give me a break! Good luck to Derek in taking over both programs and I'm personally glad Lyle is staying put.

7A help me out, my memory isn't what it used to be, but didn't LA & GC meet the following November in the one & only 7AA/13AA Challenge at "the Shoe at the View" and GC was victorious?

Honest mistake. My play-by-play partner does say it like that because the "ch" sound can pop the microphone sometimes.
