Ryan Jenkins of Maryville is one to mention. Football, all-state soccer goalie, and basketball. He was improving toward the end of basketball season last year--became a strong 6th man for the Rebels. Good luck to Gaskin at TWC.

Anybody know anything about a high-school all star game? I had heard it's July 2nd somewhere?

He's got some good recruits to work with--Gulmire, Gaskin and Chris Brown coming in.

Great post Rebelsman. I really liked watching all those TN Breakers players this year. Any word on where/if Gulmire and Gaskin are going to play??

I have to agree with coach JG. The Bradley Central guys, Gulmire of Oak Ridge and Gaskin of Maryville were my favorite players to watch this year. That said, they are not true D1 material, maybe LOW D1. If anyone went to the adidas high school all-star game last week at Thompson-Boling, then you would see what D1 players look like. Actually, Gulmire, Andy Tipton, Pasqua, Dean and others did a half-time three point shooting contest and you could just see the difference between our East Tenn boys and the D1 recruited players in the game. Don't get me wrong--I love watching these guys, and they are the best of east Tennessee. But unfortunately we are not a big area for men's basketball. Good luck to to Hare at Belmont, Tipton at CN, Gaskin and Gulmire (wherever you choose to go), and thank you all for a great high school basketball season.

Best uniforms - Bradley Central (like that Nike swoosh on the shorts) Worst - I know they didn't make it anywhere near state, but we've been talking about it all year. . . the Wm Blount uniforms were AWFUL. They need a stylist!

What impressed me most about the Delks (and their teammates) was their quickness. The shooting can improve. They also need to add some muscle (skinny as a couple of fence posts!)

Were there any players from the greater-Knoxville area (i.e. Farragut, Bearden, Maryville, Oak Ridge)? If so, how did they do??? Jen
