How has the district of 10AA played out this week? How is the District looking?

It is for sure a team sport. You can't win a game by yourself. Baseball is the best team sport. NO one person can do everything. It takes all nine plus the bench to win a game. You need someone on the bench to warm up the next pitcher in the bullpin. The list goes on and on why this is a team sport. It takes a good TEAM and willing TEAM to win.

Congrads to all teams in the tourney. It was a good tournament from the get go. It was like no one team could come in and clear out the tournament. It was a very good tournament. Once, again congrads to all teams in the Page Tournament. This tournament gave some great experience to some players from most teams. The playing feild was definently even. Pageman, you did a great job with all you did this weekend. Good job.

I agree this should be a good tournament. I really have no idea who will come out on top there are just to many teams to be able to tell who could pull out the win in this tournament. The pools are broke up evenly the best I can tell. No one pool has an advantage over another pool. Really I think anyone team can pull out with the win in the tourney. It is all going to boil down to who has an on day! Its all up for grabs. It should be good for who pulls it out, I can't wait to see who wins the tournament. Alot of good ball in just a few days. Has anyone in District 10AA played in any District games if so how did they play out? Just asking how the District is looking.

I think Sycamore should get the respect they've earned. They played some great ball the past couple of years against some great team especially in the past season. Lost to defending state champs by 10, then the soon to be state champs by 10. Not a bad ball team if you ask me!!! They have for sure Earned the respect they need.

Well, Mr. Watts when are you subject to return and looking to pitch again. With your injury are you able to catch or are you riding Pine with injury? What was wrong with your D? I'm assuming it was not up to what it needed to be to beat Harpeth? What where the scores to your games in the tourney? Your return to the team could be important in the future, if or when you return it could help your team out majorly since you throw 85 MPH.

Now that Sycamore has the taste of victory in thier mouth, I believe they can use that as momentum to get the season rolling on a good note. They have already started better than their 0-11 start last season, in which they still made it to the region game playing Marshall and only losing 3-1. So, perhapes this could be the turn around the team was looking for in hopes of being able to make it farther than they did last season. They have already starting off better and looking to improve their record in the upcoming week.

When, I play outfield on a traveling team in the summer, I use eye black. I use eye black because, when I wear sunglasses they fall off when I start running so, i prefer eye black over sunglasses. When I use eye black I go with the stick over the strips. The strips don't seem to be as good as the stick to me.

The tournament was not well thought through. Having to many games in one day. Playing the last game at 8 each night, then starting the next game at 8 the next morning. They also have two teams playing the back to back games. The spand between the games is crazy. You have teams playing the first game and the next to the last game one day. That was not very smart. Now you have a team running around all day with nothing to do. It seems like the farther you have to drive the later and earlier you have to play. Short drive play mid day, long drive late night and early morning games. What do you think about the games to be played at Page this weekend?

How did the other two teams do in the tourney? Greenbrier and Northeast. How is Harpeth looking to be this year? Are they going to have a chance in the running for the district championship OR how about Cheatham how did ya'll do in the tourney. How was your pitching Mr. Watts? Was it up to par with what you consider to be an on day. I read that Cheatham was having problems in one of the games. How did they do in the rest of the games.

This game will come down to defense and free throws. If so, Sycamore will have the upper edge in this great high school basketball game. Considering Sycamore hit 20 of 23 free throws lastnight and dominated around the court against a very talented Waverly offense. They also managed to throw in the mix 15 three pointers. Logan Pierce will be ready for Tyler Smith tonight, and you can count on that. I can't believe that no one has mentioned free throws yet. I mean, does Giles even practice free throws. I bet Giles hadn't hit 20 free throws this year. Like I said this will be a very well played basketball game. Good Luck to both teams.

Yes Sycamore has an injured arm, but he is still in the line-up. They have more pitchers than just one arm. Yes he was a top pitcher in the district last year but they have more depth than one guy. Sycamore didn't advance to region last year and almost beat one of the best arms in the state just cause one guy. Oh by the way Sycamore lost two seniors, both of which didn't even bat over 300. Their top hitter last year was a freshman. They have 7 returning starters and 5 more saw some innings last year. So Sycamore is not hurting to much. Now I will say CreekWood, Cheatham, Mont. Central, and Waverly are all top knotch teams. Harpeth is very talented also. This district is very evenly matched. Creekwood made some noise last year in the season upsetting Mont. Central and Sycamore. Twice against Sycamore and once against Mont. They are very well coached, as is all of the other district teams. With Cheatham only losing one senior they will be tough to beat. I think if Cheatham stays healthy and keeps their head right could be a top team this year. Now you can never leave out the 4 year reigning district champs Mont. Central. They always have solid pitching as well as Cheatham and Waverly. Good Luck to all teams!!

I think Sycamore will come out on top tonight. They Have alot of momentum going into the game tonight. If Sycamore can Stop Bowers and Nole they win. Lovell has no real threat to the them. Sycamore has been playing good ball, so they have the up hand.

I don't see anything wrong with the fans and pep club dressing up to support their team. Supportive fans is great. They can help turn around a game. Know that the fan support is behind the team all night. Colored hair, paint, magaphones, and such can be an adding factor the crowd. How would you like it knowing you had to go into a really loud gym and play. It's all home court advantage. Play it in your favor!!!

this will be a close game, I still choose Sycamore. It's gonna be an upsetting homecoming!!! Sycamore pulled out a close one with Cheatham, giving them an edge going into the game Friday. I know the Sixth Man will be there ready to go.
