Where are you from in ohio? I'm living the better part of my in Cincinnati and helped out with Bethel-Tate a couple years back.

What times are the practices? I have to see what my hours are like and all that other good stuff.

well it looks like the life guard at the wave pool has another great crop of kids. Hopefully they can make some noise against the other part of the state. This tournament seemed a little more spread out, was it because of the teams/ wrestlers that didnt show up to G-town, or was it shifts in weight classes?

I will be in town for turkey day this year, are there any tournaments going on that weekend?

I know Collierville tested all athletic sports after an accusation that the entire football team was taking speed. That was my senior year, three years ago and I think they have stopped since then.

Just wondering if there are any nicknames for coach Tom over at Collierville. There was the running joke of hime weighing an eighth of a VW beetle when he wrestled at 215 for Cville. And if Tom sees this, I know I won't be able to go home for a while.

When is the three day marathon known as the G-town preseason tournament?

Well i would give best coach to Cottrell, if he was still at collierville. But a second place would definately go to coach Bray. I still remember my junior year at black horse, Coach Bray was telling Jonas Gibbs I was the guy to beat at 103 for the year. Right then I knew I was respected, but that people were gunning for me. I know any wrestler would be motivated if they heard an opposing coach say that, but I wish out of the many respectable coaches in the region, outside Tom Marable cuz I view him in higher reguard, I would be honored to be coached by Coach Bray.

because its not that popular of a sport to be shown on espn. It does get airtime on espnU but i have seen a USA vs. Russia freestyle duel on espn down in memphis and an Iowa state vs another big ten school (i dont remember who) on tv but that was up in Iowa. It's like trying to find a good lacrosse game on tv, you got to be lucky and thankful for what you get.

Hate to bust the bubble, but I might not be able to wrestle for Cincy this year. With 18 credit hours, fraternity, and part-time job, I would only make one practice a week, and every body knows that's not a good situation when wrestling guys on club teams that should be wrestling for NCAA D1 schools. I'll try to make it to practices but maybe not compete.
