Haven't seen too many results of late from the west side. It seems that everybody has fallen off the face of the earth, not just Bartlettdad?

I haven't seen any results from my dragons on the commercial appeal's web site or on coacht. I'm sure that my guys down in C'ville can tell me what is going on, or if one of those gracious enough from somewhere else will let me in on what's going on.

Good showing by the mustangs and impressive wins by Cordova and Houston over Bartlett to even the series. Any word on how the whole thing went down?

hey Jim all of us have to give up something to enjoy the sport of wrestling. I gave up junk food for 4 months, i think you can go without living the high life for a day.

yea, we got our butts kicked at maryville. We teamed up with Southern Virginia University and some Maryville guys. but we got stuck wrestling Apprentice, a good Maryville squad, and a UGA squad with Apprentice and PCC guys strewn in. I had the luck of wreslting two apprentice guys, a guy from PCC, and Trentledge from MTSU. I fortunately got a bye because Maryville's 125 pounder got hurt. I finished 2-3.

I asked the doctor about physical activity and he said that it would be fine. I feel normal and am in no pain, except for the fact that I have no scale to check my weight before the Maryville tournament tomarrow morning.

A couple of weeks back I posted on one of these topics that I was going to see a specialist about my kidneys. Well, the day finally came and the specialist told me that I have serious kidney failure. Basiclly my kidneys are scarred and they are working at 40 percent of what they are supposed to be working. I gave another urine and blood sample when I was at the specialist so that he may be able to find out what is wrong. If he can not find the cause of the problem through the blood or urine, he would have to perform a biopsy, taking a sample of my kidneys. He believes that this has been slowly progressing because my body is so used to the condition, but he does not know what is causing my kidneys not to work. I ask that you keep me in your thoughts while I am going through all of this. My intention was not to cause alarm, gain attention or detract from anyone's successful season, just that I want everyone in the wrestling community back home in Memphis to know what is going on with my health up here in Cincinnati because y'all are part of my wrestling family and I want you to know what came about from my visit with the doctor.

of course I am pulling for my dragons, but it will be Brother Martin, Grissom, then my dragons either 3rd or fourth. I think they will be the top area team though, with CBHS close behind.

WrestleSBA, congrats on the impressive win. My dragons might have to worry about the eagles from auburndale instead of the guys from the wave pool. Sorry, that's my attempt at a usfjim impression.

Just curious, are there any matches going on around the week of Christmas? I'm only going to be in town that week and would love to catch some hometown wrestling while I'm in Memphis.

well, its too much in such a small space that i couldn't keep up. i needed to read the post several times to get all of it.

i had to take a urinalysis for an ROTC physical and they found some protiens. They sent me to take an ultrasound, and they found the kidneys to be sponfier than normal, i.e. they let too much protiens out of the bloodstream. In short, no big deal yet. And I still think Bartlett is all hype based on the return rate of Houston's wrestlers. Just my opinion.

My parents supported me in everything I did, and they didn't have to rant and rave, yell at refs and opposing coached to prove it to me. Might be different ways of showing support, I don't know.

i got a consultation with a kidney specialist that friday, so it depends on when i get out and when weigh ins are.

I'm going 125, even though i'm nowhere close to having to cut weight.
