CHHS72,
My comment was for Libertyfan. He said that TSSAA should step in and make standard for district. You put your 1 penny's worth of words on here and don't know what you're talking about on my statement. Yes I am being sarcastic at Libertyfan. TSSAA already controls too moch where money is involved but will not step up when associations have complaints or needs to regulate something. My comments were to make it known that the regular season is important as the playoffs, so playing for something is better than knowing there is only 1 format that will be accepted. So when you butt-in again know what you're talking about. I was actually supporting your "WACKY" conference.
Libertyfan,
I think you are smarter than your comment of how the other levels, region, etc., are "conducted in one particular way." The reason there is no particular way, you have conferences with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 teams. You tell me how TSSAA is supposed to regulate a standard in every conference with such diversity? Teams within certain conferences are competitive from first to last, while others have only one or two teams that make it every year. Why not reward teams for regular season play? Look at it from another view. Why not give a team that may have had a bad regular season but does good in the playoffs a chance? Someone made the comment of how Pigeon Forge won three games to reach the regional. If they had to play the 1st place team the first round, maybe they would never had had any success. The point is.......no way of doing things will be fair unless you have the equal number of teams in every conference. Only then can you have a "fair bracket".
