  1. Music is only used to enhance the video....The hardest tune I have ever added to any video was Welcome to the Jungle and that was for Wolke..... I try to keep it civil... I did create Bryson's frosh clip but I have nothing to do with his soph clip... Thanks
  2. Please call me as I would like to discuss this matter with you Charger5159. My number is 615-812-5999 Thanks The Stork
  3. All kids really need to think about is their grades first before even considering a highlight video.... just a thought. I have made a bunch a videos for kids only to figure out in the end they never considered their grades....
  4. I dont have all of his stats but do know he lead the team in tackles for the Dogs.
  5. Deon plays for Smyrna High School in Smyrna TN. Thanks
  6. Webmaster is out so.............I thought I would go ahead and give everybody a look. If you would like a little better quality go here http://thestork.smugmug.com/gallery/744742...482323871_BHKnR
  7. You nailed it down. What if college coaches had reports from all the teachers that stated what kind of citizen each recruit is? What if they looked into their overall attendance to school? What about their overall commitment to the real reason why we are all here to began with? How about their ability to handle themselves when things just don??™t go their way? What about their manners? What about their overall work ethic? Are they a team player or is all about them? How well do they listen? Are they coachable? What kind of person will they be when we take them on the road? Is the recruit a Chief or an Indian? Can they handle their finances at school? I think all of these things are so important in building a winning team but the top schools look at about 5 different things and if they complete those they are in regardless of some of the items I mention above. They judge: Speed, Strength, Academically Qualified, Height, and just an overall master at the sport they play. You listen to Jamie Newburg and Scott Kennedy they always say things like. "This kid really cuts hard on every route; his hands are remarkable we didn??™t see him drop one ball all day at our workout". I have seen these guys at the combines and it??™s pretty neat. I can remember the first time I saw a Julio Jones and Noel Devine. I don??™t write the rules I just play by them. Your post was all over it.
  8. Thanks Terry for calling me! I really am glad you see the whole point of the article rock on and lets get ready for Spring Ball
  9. If you would like discuss this article that Tom wrote I urge you to call me. I think people are missing the point. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. I can always be reached at 615-812-5999 www.storkmontgomery.com.
  10. Scout and Adidas will both have their dates up soon. A couple of things to ponder. 1. If you get a chance to participate you need to be in great shape. (Training for the combine is totally different than training for the fall). 2. They all do things a little different so........ be prepared especially when it comes to the one on one competition. 3. If at all possible get there the day before the event. Just a few thoughts
  11. If you need help email me your cell number and I can tell you how. www.storkmontgomery.com The Stork
  12. I like the drama of the waiting game. All the SHS fans were in the same boat last year. Think about this if we didnt love high school football in our little corner of this whole state this topic wouldnt be the top one. Region 4-5A (speaking for the present we havent played our first game as a part of the new alignment) is truly the road to the State in my opinion since 1994 this area has brought us all wonderful Friday Nights and some Saturday Nights (count the rings from this area). Who ever it is lets hope it always stays competitive, but in reality kids play the sport. Without the players the coaches are nothing. I can remember when SEC basketball had Hugh, Wimp, Dale, Fogler, Pitino etc.... If message boards had been around back in the DAY O it would be the same drama that is happening now. Oh btw is there any drama with coaches in the SEC Football Today...........???? I love this country and love watching it all go down. Whomever it is lets all support the kids. Coaching in all sports is for the love of the game in high school very few worry about the money. Teaching is a job and you should be happy doing it. It is a thankless job. I couldnt do it. I am sure coaches who once coached in this area always sit back and chuckle about just how competitive we are here in Region 4-5A and those that are coaching now will tell you they love it. To whomever it is good luck and I am counting the days until next August. Good Luck to Oakland, I truly dont think you will need it you are the most physical team by far. PS: My phone just hasnt stopped ringing today about this topic. The Stork www.storkmontgomery.com
  13. 2P I hope this is not a reference to me. I do not call varsity but I did call the freshmen game last night. The Stork
  14. Gooch and House played youth ball @ UNA
  15. Thanks PKING it took a while to put that together. I just hope he stays healthy. I have old video that shows him when he was playing youth football. He scored 5 touchdowns in the first half.
  16. http://www.storkmontgomery.com/JeremiahBryson.aspx Enjoy! Thanks Stork
  17. I just completed Bryson's highlight video. He should be up by the end of the week. Hager will be featured also. Thanks www.storkmontgomery.com
  18. If Smyrna was to look in Alabama stop off at Bob Jones High School guys name is Shannon Brown. Good Coach.
  19. When the job closes at the Rutherford County Board of Education anybody can submit a request to see all the applicants including their resume. It is a matter of public record. This law only applies to public schools. Private institutions are not held to the same law.
  20. Bud has the call here on this one. I would be willing to bet that the next coach will be a gentleman with several years experience in being a head coach. Either way that person will call the shots on every aspect including the person who runs the video. I hope it is somebody the kids love to play for and respect. With the talent that is currently in the pound at SHS I would be picky about who I let run the show.
  21. Below are the dates 4/05 Miami, FL 4/12 New Orleans, LA 4/19 Dallas, TX 4/27 Auburn, AL 5/10 Charlotte, NC 5/17 Cincinnati, OH 5/24 Phoenix, AZ
  22. I will be at the Scout Combine @ Auburn.
  23. Dale Brown and Gleen McKnight weren??™t to bad both were seniors when Wolke was a sophomore. I was not here when Lee Carter played but they say him and DJ were fantastic. BTW Donnie Carter was once the coach of Triple A LaVergne. I think if you want to give any credit to all the kids mentioned in this thread it would have to be Gene Carr he is the father of youth football. He has done the most for Smyrna. www.storkmontgomery.com
  24. Hey CAT the bearden video is up on the site which should let everybody see he is out of bounds. www.storkmontgomery.com
