First of all. It's good to see MP getting some attention out there! I think we are starting to earn some respect! As for the MP against Riverdale thing, Who knows? It would be interesting. I think MP could at the least keep it within 2 or three touchdowns. But i will say this, MP has earned everything they have gotten to the past two years and all the credit has to go to the players hard work and the Coaching Staff that began this climb last year!! Keep it up MP and lets put this lil ole town on the map baby!!!

Oh yea, Cascades QB will get hit! Yes it will be a challenge to MP but more of a challenge to him i think. Although i will say Cascade will probably fired up at the start. I think it is important that MP starts off fast. They have had a couple of games where they came out a little flat. If Cascade gets off to a fast start i think they could make it interesting. As for Roro Fennessee! I am not afraid to say that i think he is the best defensive player to ever play at MP! He has a good mix of size and speed! He is very fast to the ball and chooses good angles. Breaking the tackle record will be a great accomplishment and i think all will be glad he gets it because of the hard work he has put forth. Does anyone know if he has any offers to anywhere? Go MP!!

Problems for Cascade! How do you guard #81 Webster? If you double or triple team him, how do you stop #4 Theo Fennessee? How do you penetrate that MP offensive line? How do you keep #20 Roro Fennessee from getting to the ball on defense? How do you protect your QB from being harrassed all night? How do you keep from getting your head knocked of from #30 Whitaker? How do you keep Mp's special teams from hurting you? There is a lot Cascade will have to do to beat MP! Better bring your A game!!

Well at the beginning of the year i would say that a lot of Region 6 didn't give MP much respect. But now i'd say we gained our respect from our region. And i don't think Region 5 respects us now, they may say some complimentary things here and there, but we all know they are just looking for the CPA DCA rematch. So i guess we'll just have to gain respect by earning it! No matter what MP does in the playoffs(Hope its far) it has been very fun watching this team play this year! GO MP!!

Cascade is a team i haven't heard much about this year, but it seems they are playing some good football hear lately with some of the scores i have seen. What type of team does Cascade have?

Jamarcus Webster-MT.Pleasant The kid has amazing talent! A lot of people talk about him offensively but he is just as good defensively. I don't know for sure his defensive stats. I'd say he has 5 to 7 sacks, i know of at least 3 forced fumbles, and many tackles for loss. I would say he is Mr. Football!! Awesome on both sides!!

From what i have heard. Cascade has a pretty good QB that can really throw it. I see this as another challenge to the MP defense. People have criticized their pass defense this year, which i think is pretty good. They have given up a few big plays but overall they have done a good job so far. I think this could be a closer game if MP doesn't have a let down from WC. But i don't see that happening with the chance of going undefeated in the regular season! MP-42 Cascade-14

We have took our lumps over the years, how does it feel now!! I know your not used to having 51 put on you, but its better than 65 or 72 which i think was very possible!

WOW!!!!!!!! What a showcase by the Tigers! Congrats to all the players! I could say so much about a lot of them tonight but it would take too long!! The crowd was great tonight, as loud as it gets in high school football! As for the tree chopping, i didn't see any, i thought i saw Mp supervising WC planting some more trees after the game actually!! A great start to the game with J Web with his classic jump ball catch for a touchdown. Theo eclipsing the 1000 yard mark on the season and a great game from him(Didn't see the shut down of MP's running game). And a BIG HIT by Roderick Whitaker on Ruddle, which seemed to send a message. MP was the better team obviously!! As for the score, Hey just STOP SOMEBODY!! If you want to talk about payback, we got ours tonight!!! So just take your whipping like a man and go on. Wayne Co. is a good football team and we wish you all the luck in the playoffs. Lets make Region 6 proud! Go Tigers!

Well it's getting near!! This will be the biggest game MP will have had in a long time. MP has looked really strong this year. A stingy Defense, with an unstoppable offense. Wayne Co. has been a big bump in the road for MP over the years. MP has proven they have improved greatly but this is the kind of game that MP has to take to the next level! If they want to be GREAT then it starts Friday night! Even though MP has gotten a lot of ink this year. MP i believe is the underdog friday night! Wayne Co. is the Region Champs from last year, and to be the Top Dog, you gotta knock'em off the Porch. I see MP bringing out there best game of the year ang getting it done! Although Wayne Co. has good athletes. I don't think they have the athletes MP has. If MP plays there A game, no doubt MP will come away with a win! All you got MP!!! Lets do it!!

Marco Dailey-Mt.Pleasant The kid has amazing speed! Once he gets in the open field its Goodbye!!

What is that about Fennessee?? From what i've seen, he doesn't mind getting hit. All i got to say, if you bring it to Theo your going two get 210lbs. of a wrecking ball coming at ya!! Oh he doesn't mind getting hit. He's TOUGH!!

About Mps defense. I have seen MP play games where teams try to line up and run it right at them. It didn't work. MP stacked the box and shut them down. I have also seen a few teams try to spread Mp out and throw. It didn't work also. Now i don't see MP shutting WC out. Wayne Co. will be the best offense MP will see. As for Burley and wildcatpride can outsmart our "genious" coaches, watch out!! These guys are some good prospects!!

Thats some CUTE remarks there wildcatpride! As for your prediction on Ruddle having career highs on MP, i don't see it! He may be in for a rude awakening. If he brings it #81's way, he better bring it! # 20 will be stalking him all night long! #5 would love for him to bring it his way! I will tell you, i think the MP defense will show what they got friday night. We have seen them play very good all year but i think there is a dominating performance coming friday night from this D!! From the games i have saw MP has a very fast defensive front. Davis at DE is very quick and strong. Webster at the other End, well you know!! And the Tackles are big and get penetration, maybe they can't run a 4.5 but have quick feet. No i haven't seen Wc play this year, But i know they have Ruddle and Nutt. And they are two good athletes. As for MP, i think WC will see that this team is MUCH improved from last year! A lot more PHYSICAL!! No doubt this will be one heck of a game. Go Get'em Tigers!!

First of all, Hats off to Huntland! Huntland played really hard and gave it there all. As for MP, It was a defensive game and MP's defense was AWESOME!! Offensively it wasn't as smooth as normal. You have to give credit to Huntlands defense, and also penalty really hurt MP from getting into a rythym, too many 2nd and 20's and 3rd and 15's. But overall a good win for MP! They showed they could grind it out in a defensive ballgame. Good win and cant wait for Wayne Co. to come to the Jungle!!!!!!!!!

First of all! Everyone can have their opinions of Webster on rather he is D1 material or not. In my opinion, i do believe he is D1 material. He is one of the most athletic kids in the state. Most people just focus on him at WR, but he is a more complete football player. He is a monster at DE!! He blows runs up in the backfield, can chase down RB all over the field, and is a QB's nightmare!!! If he did go D1, i would see him going somewhere as a LB. As for MP, this team looks really good so far! Yes everyone looks at Webster but like Snowman said there are so many other weapons. Linebacker Roro Fennessee is one awesome LB!! I mean you could name many others on this team! There is a lot of talk about Mp and there schedule and how they will do in the Playoffs but i will say this. Mp has came a long ways from just a few years ago and the way the coaching staff and the players have turned it around i would not be suprised if they went far this year. If you can remember back a few years ago not many people would have thought we could do what we have so far, so don't doubt what Mp can do!!

I believe most people think mp should win this game. But, this is the one game this year where im afraid an underdog could beat them. Im talking about looking ahead to Wayne Co. Mp had better come ready to play!! If they do im saying MP by 3 or 4 touchdowns.

I don't think i have ever seen someone talk about a team being overrated after getting took to the WOODSHED!!! Go ahead a say what you want about MP once they get to the Playoffs, opinion are opinions and we will see what MP can do! Good luck Mp and give it your all and thats all we can do!! And to Moore Co. yes yall have been a great football community through the years and i think everyone respects that. But you can also show some respect to MP too, we are having some success and we are excited about that and will try to represent Region 6 well!!

What?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jamarcus average????? Yes Moore county did kinda contain him. Only two touchdowns and about 80 yards on a couple of punt returns.Don't say a 5'4 sophmore shut him down, he was double and triple teamed all night and still made some plays against them. Ask Collinwood if they think he is average!! I know your upset because you thought yall had a chance for a slight second but You Got IT Handed To You!!!!! Now tuck your tail and run!!!! MP with another blowout win! Although this game was interesting for a little while. Moore County jumps out to an early 10-0 lead. Something i think MP needed. But MP responds well scoring 55 unanswered points. Moore County looked to be a big team but Mp was really physical with them and Moore County could not match MP's speed. Jamarcus Webster was double and triple teamed all night, but i do know of one touchdown recieving and a touchdown rushing. Mp defense was really good except for two early plays in the 1st qt.

I don't see Mp getting upset, especially on homecoming. Although it could happen. The only thing i see is Mp doing a lot of JAWBREAKING!!

Mp is just too strong!! Running right at them probably won't work either. Its worth a try though. If you plan on overpowering Mp you better BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Stephen you seem to be eating your words also. At first you was saying MP couldn't hang with the nashville teams and now your saying they would give CPA a heck of a game! On or off the bandwagon, which is it?
