  1. Everyone here should know that Rockwood fans are the rowdiest of the bunch...did yall not see that student section against Cosby...they were fired up...that was one of the loudest games ive been to because of Rockwoods student section...they make signs and everyone stands up in the bleachers and they like all have homemade tshirts on...they are on key...how bout them tigers......!!!
  2. What do you think about Rockwood and Hancock county??
  3. How many three pointers did Laura have last night? 28 first half points is a lot. I wish I could have seen that one must have been a show. rscc33
  4. What color of jersey you wear don't mean nothing. Cosby is an around better team and that's it. But it should still be a good game. rscc33
  5. Who all is in the district 4a again. I was thinking it was Rockwood, Harriman and those teams, I might be wrong though. rscc33
  6. Well Greenback will definately beat Midway by at least 20 points, and Cosby will beat CAK by about 20 points. So once again it will coem down to Cosby and Greenback in the championship game, with Cosby winning it due to them overpowering Greenback in the end. Plus Cosby has the homecourt advantage. rscc33
  7. The girl that was guarding her from Midway plays a little dirty. She likes to exchange words with you and give you an elbow here and there when no one is looking. Believe me I know. So I can see why Daughtery got mad and pushed her, however she shouldn't have quit for that reason. The coach was just doing what should have been done. rscc33
  8. I believe that it will be Cosby who wins the championship. Cosby is a much more powerful team and not to mention they have the home court advantage. The drive up to Cosby is a killer, and it sometimes makes teams feel a little on the lazy side. So Greenback could play a little sluggish. I think it will be a close game because both teams are excellent and well coached but I believe Cosby will pull it off in the end. rscc33
  9. Since the districts are at Cosby this year, that gives Cosby one more advantage over Greenback. I know from experience making that drive up to Cosby it wears you out. So Greenback will probably be a little on the lazy side, and going against those big girls at Cosby you can't be lazy. rscc33
  10. I believe that it doesn't really matter who gets the number one seed either, because it will more than likely come down to Cosby and CAK in the championship game. Not that I'm saying that Greenback isn't capable of pulling an upset but CAK and Cosby are the the better teams. rscc33
  11. TheAnswer9, As a matter of fact I did play basketball at Roane State and I was number 33. Who was your wife, I might know her. rscc33
  12. I didn't watch the OS vs HH game but I have heard plenty about it. Mainly the downing of Laura Hall. Everyone is making a big deal about her being stopped, well if you think holding someone to 16 points is getting them stopped, then you must not know to much about basketball. Not to mention everyone acts like if she doesn't score at least 20 points a game she didn't have a good game. Don't know if you have watched her to much, but she doesn't just score, she is a very good defensive player who has quite a few steals in her career and not to mention she carries a load of assist every game. People think that basketball is just about being a big scorer, but it's not there are quite a few other aspects that are just as equally important. I would like to have seen what she would have done if she hadn't of had that ankle injury, guaruantee HH wouldn't have as you all say "held her to" 16. Being how that is such a bad game when you score 16 and all. rscc33
  13. First of I would like to say that if the 3 seniors who quit loved the game so much and it was their life that they never would have quit. I know for a fact that the coach gave them the choice to run or to quit, and they quit. If you loved the game so much you would have picked to run the whole practice and sucked it up and then you could still be on the team. I don't think it's the coach's "stupidity" I played for C. Hayes but I never played for Cawood, but looks to me like he did what should have been done. If you have practice you should be there unless you have an emergency. I know from experience that running for an hour an a half will not kill you, I mean my gosh we ran for 4 hours straight. I'm not downing the seniors for quitting it was their choice but I just don't like them to get on here and say that it was the coach's fault and that they love the game. If you loved it you would still be there. The girls could have used the seniors but if they weren't going to be no more dedicated than that then the team is better off without them. Go luck to the team and to the coaches. rscc33
  14. I think it will be Cosby, just like it has been for the past 3 years. Cosby is a power house, and no matter how good Greenback may be Cosby out powers them by a long shot. Greenback is very well coached but can not compete with the big girls from Cosby and not to mention there sharp shooters. So Cosby no questions asked. rscc33
