Chetham came from 2A...they beat up on the little guys, but now they are running with the big dogs. Let's not all say they're going to win Region. They've still got some good teams to play, who are used to running with the big guys. Let's just go through the season and see how they do. They might be good, but let's see how they come out when playing some of the traditonal powers of 3A.

First of all how can the people on here saying Coachhard is talking bad about kids from dl when most of these "kids" are in college, sorry to tell you but your no longer a kid. And bombsquad you talk about us starting cheers what about the go start the tractor chant at the district basketball tournament last year?

BombSquad... That was definetly the most worthless thing i have ever heard! Lipscomb might win but we are all more ignorant having read that, and why would you spend that much time writing that you need a life!

I have heard rumors that the coaches for the bobcats moved Kyle Herndon to qb today and Pigg to tailback so if this is true then we will see how my theory works out friday night

Well in the 03 season i believe it was Roger started as qb against Fort Campbell, and even started at qb the next game that year against DL until about midway through the first quarter THEN he moved to running back. So all im stating is, is that it took basically 2 losses for the greenbrier coaches to move roger to tailback and when they did move him thats when things started looking upward for the bobcats, so what im saying is that i hope the coaches dont make the same mistake and take a loss or two before they wise up, because yes that 03 team became one of the best greenbrier football teams to ever play and they accomplished what they did having started the season 0-2, but this years team doesnt have the same leaders on it that the 03 team did! So they may not be so fourtunate

Yea catfish in a way you are right and in a way you are not. About three years ago before coach moved Roger Herndon to running back greenbrier wasnt winning to many games, but when he did move roger to tailback you saw where it got the team. Thats all im saying that year it took the first game being the first loss of the season for the coaches to work that problem out. I just dont want the coaches to mess around and take a loss on the first game of the season this year to figure out that they have some changes to make! Lets just take a look back last year who was takin all the back up qb snaps in practice kyle Herndon and Lynch, when Aldridge went down last year who went in behind him the game after Kyle Herndon, and yes Lynch did finish the game up that Aldridge got hurt in but if i remeber correctly he took about 10 snaps and i dont think he threw the ball one time. But the next week Kyle was there to pick up the starting qb job and did a pretty fair job. I just think (and no im not a coach) but i think that the best interest for the team to be a winning force this year would be to put kyle under center and Pigg at Tailback. ANd that westmoreland scrimmage fish you said kyle got about 4 or 5 carries well i was there and i saw him get that many carries in the first 10 minutes so i know he got more than that. But the bottom line is Pigg has to get the ball more! Coaches probably dont need my help but trust me im not the only one that feels this way.

Well i have heard alot of different things about pope how they have 2 real good athletes whether they are in the back field or one is in the back field and one is split out. I have heard they are gonna be a tough team, well for the greenbrier bobcats this friday that could be true, because the bobcats are gonna have to fix some things and fix the quick if they not only want to stand a change against pope but agaisnt everyone else on their schedule. By this im talking about the back field mainly! Kyle herndon should be at qb and justin pigg should be at tailback. Against westmoreland a couple of weeks ago pigg touched the ball 4 times and had a 60-70 yard touchdown run. You cant give the ball to your best running back just 4 times and expect to win to many ball games. Now nothing against herndon he is a great ball player but he needs to play qb because he has more experience there then any of the qbs getting reps. And who to put at wingback if they did make these adjustments, well brad martin or jody dorris i think could feel that spot. The wingback for greenbrier has never ran the ball alot and with pigg there who has great speed, tough as nails, and is a td finder is almost a waist of talent having him at wingback, but if greenbrier doesnt fix these problems they could be in for a long season! I do think that the bobcats can be good and i hope they continue to be a team to beat and we will see friday night what does everyone else think?

I dunno how you can say that neither team has much offense? Greenbrier just played the #1 ranked team in the other district livingston academy and scored 8 runs, now i dont know how you can say that neither team has much offense, and david lipscomb has scored quite a few runs against greenbrier in 2 of the 3 games. I dont know who will win or how many runs will be scored by either team, but i do think it will be a good game, and dont count greenbrier out cuase they can play with lipscomb and i think coming off a huge win last night will win this game!

This is a do or die game, who do you think will pull out the victory in this one? Greenbrier has pretty good depth on the mound, and has a pretty solid team. What does livingston have?

kd if you are the # 17 from the team i would just like to say that you are an outstanding player, i think i faced you 5 or 6 times this year and you are impossible to strike out. You are a great hitter/catcher and a good team captain good luck to you in college and the rest of your life

Yes it was postponed but greenbrier was leading 5-0 in the top of the third with 2 runners on and 2 outs.

Well if this game is anything like the last one greenbrier will breeze by Hume Fogg. The greenbrier fans made lots of noise the last game these two teams played and i believe that made a huge difference as hume fogg struggled while the fans continoulsy yelled. If greenbrier shoots half as good as they did last time they will def. win. Hume Fogg is a ok team, but greenbrier has the potential to be one of the best in the district so i believe greenbrier will take this one in easy fashion gb by 20+

John who??? I am a fan of Greenbrier and we played sycamore twice ( and beat them twice) and i dont remeber there being any kid on there team that even compared to tyler smith. I saw Smith play twice in the tourney at beech right after xmas this year and i have to say he didnt disappoint. WHile in the championship game with 6 seconds left on the clock in the first quarter he got the ball dribbled all the way down the court and dunked right before time ran out. THat might not seem like much to some people on here but he dunked a few other times that game too and they were some pretty amazing dunks. It is hard for me to believe that a thread like this was even started. Whether the kid was hurt or not when he played greenbrier i dont think it makes that much of a difference, cause when you can dunk from the foul line healthy then you should still be able to do some pretty good things a little sick and i dont remeber him doing that agaisnt us. So yea SMith is def. the better player and giles def. has the better team so this wont be a contest in either category.

I might just drive my tractor to the game tommorw. I bet he and the rest of the MLK fans would love that! And no mine doesnt have dubs on it, but that would be pretty sweet if it did.

Bertier i wasnt trying to downgrade mlk or say bad things about where the school is located. As catsbball already said i was referring to the things that doc said after the game while he tried to get stuff started after the game. I meant no disrespect to anyone from mlk juss quoting what doc said tuesday night while we were at mlk. I expect this to be a better game then last, because i think that gb will play a better first quarter which will help there outcome greatly. So good luck to both teams. GO BOBCATS!!

This should be another good game and i expect the same thing out of both teams, and i expect the same thing from doc and his staff. But this time Doc is gonna have to leave "his hood" and come to the bobcats country, so it will be interesting to see how he deals with that. Although mlk may still win i dont see doc acting a fool in the commons area of Greenbrier, but i could be wrong. So any thoughts or predictions on this second match up?

Yea well i was at the game last night and it was kinda funny, because there were some station camp players sitting above us making stupid jokes,and when jeff got hurt was saying aww shake it off get up. And i was thinking didnt we beat them, so station camp before you run your mouths go back and look at your schedule and see who won the game between yourselves and greenbrier. Cause i remeber and every other greenbrier fan does that GREENBRIER won so good luck against gallatin tonight, but just remeber dont run your mouths about a team when that team beat YOU!

This is prolly some of the most ridicoulos stuff i have ever read, i mean by the looks of it Greenbrier doesnt have a chance. Well Well Well. It has been a great year for us bobcats, but i dunno if we should even go to the game saturday? I mean come on obvioulsy this Fulton team is the REAL DEAL!!! I mean look what they got: Jevon Kearse at Defensive End, Michael Vick at QB, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss at the WR postions. So its obvious we dont stand a chance... Fhsplaya you gotta be kidding me. Now im not calling you a liar by any means, but 4.6 40s at the defensive end spot?????? Seems a little outrageous to me. Well i will say this if thats the case we better pick up some of the MTSU players before the game if we want a chance to win this one, but i dunno bout all that 4.6 speed cause if thats the case maybe yall should just jump right into the orange bowl this year and give USC a run for their money

Can someone from Fulton please tell me if #99 from last year graduated or is still at Fulton? I have heard both sides so im trying to figure that one out. About the game this Saturday i think that the crowd will play a big part of the outcome of the game. What is the fan base for Fulton do they bring alot of people, or are they like kingsbury and not have but maybe 100 fans? Although i am a die hard GB fan if kingsbury would have had more fans last week i believe that it could have been a different story, glad that it wasnt but could have been. I know that GB will have tons of fans and not only from Greenbrier but white house and many other places. I know that this will prolly be the best team that greenbrier has faced all year, although they have played a great DL team and a great white house team just to name a couple they may not have been matched up against a team like Fulton. Just goin off what everyone on here from SC or Fulton are saying. Obvioulsy they are good, but it seems like not to many ppl are giving us a chance, which is fine, but dont be to cocky cause just when you think you got it won.....BOOM there come them boys from Greenbrier all over you again. Someone on here said that Fulton won state when they beat AE or something like that well if thats the case maybe we should just give them the gold ball. 15 Herndons??? WHo are we playing Fulton or the New England Partriots? All this talk bout how Fulton is so good, yea im sure they are, but i dont think they are gonna be throwing the ball all over us. Two of our best athletes play the corner postion. So i think that they will match up with them pretty good. Yall know a kid by the name of Austin Rogers, well if not hes going to the University of Knoxville and we kept him pretty much in check, and we have done the same thing the last 2 weeks with some great recievers from jackson south side and kingsbury. So unless TO runs out of the tunnel with Fulton i think that we will be alright. Now not sayin we are gonna win or stop the pass completely, but i dont think that they will pass the ball all over us. And i know the main threat is Herndon, but you better watch out for Pigg cause he has come to play the last couple of games and i dont see anything changing with this one, the biggest one of the year coming up.
