Do you actually think before you type or do you just type. I dont know what your beef is but your dislike for CSAS is unreal. CSAS beat Howard and its because Howard hasnt touched a basketball in a long time so they are rusty. Then your excuse for howard losing to maplewood is because howard let them win. *newsflash* Genius Good teams in AA dont let bad single A beat them. Oh yeah that bad single A beat a team that dominated you. I also find it funny that you say Austin East would have won the best of preps. I guess you mean that same austin east team that lost to brainerd who lost to CSAS. like I said I dont know what your beef with CSAS is but let go. Howard, CSAS, McCallie, Tyner, and Red Bank are all good teams just give credit where it is due and stop making excuses every time Howard loses. Hopefully in March all of these teams will be in representing for Chattanooga in their respective state tournaments

yes the Freshman class in this district is unreal. I had the pleasure of seeing them all play as 8th graders they are very special. The crazy thing is there are more freshman girls in this district who arent getting varsity minutes who will also be very good if they work hard as well

got my first look at the Lady Warriors tonight I was very impressed. Funny thing is they started off very slowly and looked lethargic in the 1st quarter but once they turned it on there was no stopping them. I am very impressed with the young freshman Alexa Middleton she was very poised. This team is going to be good for a long time

I have to disagree with you when you say that Chatttanooga has no good bball teams. If Chattanooga doesnt have any good bball teams then what city outside of memphis does. I will say that Chattanooga basketball is not as good as it was in the 70's 80's and 90's but there are some good teams. CSAS if they stay focused will compete for a single A state title. from what I am hearing McCallie is really good and should be on contention for a D2 state title Ooltewah is apparently good so is Red Bank if Howard is improving like you say they are(and yes I believe they probably are) that gives you 5 good teams in the city in their respective classes and divisions. Once again if CSAS is not good then Howard is terrible but we know that is not true.

Apparently Siegel is who we thought they were. Their big 3(literally and figuratively) are very dominant

no I didnt see that game either. I dont live in Chattanooga anymore. As a CSAS alumni I try to catch 1 or two games a year but as far as everybody else in town I wont see them unless they make it to Murfreesboro. From you posts on here I assume you are a Howard fan so you know more about them than I do. Since CSAS and Howard have basically played every year since 2004 and you say you arent impressed with this CSAS team what is the best CSAS team you have seen? Just curious.

I wasnt at the game so I cant comment on the bloopers and what not. I know Howard will get better they have a really good coach. I just thought it was strange that you baiscally gave CSAS no props considering they beat Howard, and Brainerd(not sure how good they are)and was never really tested in any of their wins to this point

Thats an interesting post so as weak as CSAS is in the post they beat Howard by 9 points in a game that was basically never in doubt. If Howard is better than CSAS why didnt Howard take advantage of CSAS' lack of a post presence?

Yes it is the first time that CSAS has ever defeated Brainerd.Last game I rememebr between the two was in 98 when CSAS BRainerd played 3 times the first game was a blowout and the last two were close but CSAS just couldnt get over the hump. not sure if there was another game after that

I heard CSAS beat East Ridge by 17 and hamilton heights by 30 and Laot to Tyner on a buzzer beater. CSAS will be a force in Single A

this may be one of the most uninformed post ever posted on CoachT. I really think the top 15 teams in Single A would beat the bottom 15 teams in AAA. There have also been plenty of instances when a Single A team has moved up to Double A and competed( see CSAS during the 1997-98 season)

Jeremiah Bryson is a great football player but statistically he has not had a better year than Mathers as a Running Back

Considering how good SMyrna's defense is 72 yards againt them isnt really that shabby .72 yards period isnt shabby no its not great but its not bad either. Its hard to run when a whole defense is in the backfield as you are taking the handoff

looking at the numbers that I'tavius has put how could he not be looked at as possibly the best back in Blackman history. he is putting up all time district district numbers
