Harris Walker Brainerd High school 1998 class AA Mr. Basketball Was compared to Allen Iverson by many college scouts because of his quickness ability to score at will and leaping ability, Bob Gibbons had him rated as a national top five point guard coming out of Hargrave Military academy was kicked off of Ut's teams in Buzz Petersons first year as coach transferred to UTC then flunked out very unfortunate

Just wondering because Sequatchie always seems to sneak up and surprise a few people every year

Also anyone who follows basketball knows that it is possible for terrible teams find a little bit of success in post season tournaments every once in a while, please remember Hixson lost 16 games last year and came in fourth in the district, true they did come in second in the tournament but does that mean they are good just because they came in second in one tournament they lost in the second round of the region by 23 points

i coached against them three times last year and saw them play another six or seven times. They were not good last year they will be better this year but that is not saying much.

Now thatyouhave ranked them against each other how are they going to do in their respective districts and reions

Smalley is the only one returning who as a coach I would even be concerned with when playing against them

We are talking about a team that averaged about 40 points a game last year and their leading scorer graduated and he averaged about 18 of those 40, From what I have heard in the Jamboree all they did was come down court and Jack up 3's just because you have six seniors means nothing especially if five of them cant play worth a flip

Allen Ray is very very quick but he CAN NOT play defense Howard will be good but who is going to fill in for Rodney Henderson's scoring from last year

I was referring to the situation in Murfreesboro where I curently live, growing up in Chattanooga recruiting was never an issue in any sport that I know of I never saw kids transferring schools like I see up here

I just find it strange that a family decides to move so a kid can go to a certain school for athletics I know kids who say my parents moved so I can go play for such and such high that is absurd to me

You can not possibly believe that. Temple does not play the same type of competition as the AA AAA schools i saw Temple play last year are they the best single a team in Chatt yes but not the best team they would get killed by CSAS, Brainerd, Ooltewah, Skogen is a decent player but i wish everyone would stop making him out to be all world

Not sure the only game i know of was csas scoring almost forty points in a win over central

I saw Jeff play five or six times last year and this was the case he seems to sleep walk through games, maybe because of lack of motivation i dont know, but if you are talking about his new high school coach from what i have seen and heard he is no better than the last coach, but I am pretty sure Shulman will light a fire under him when he gets to UTC, congrats Jeff and good luck

Wow! you hit the nail on the head with that one as an Alum of Chatt. Arts and Sciences thats all I ever heard about while growing up was Riverside this Riverside that, They definitely have to be in the top five I have never heard of any program being that dominant ever

Yes Jeff Smith is a threat but from what I hear the new coach at Tyner has absolutely no discipline over there which was the problem with that team last year
