We in Coffee County just wanted you to know that you, your family, and softball team have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I think that I am probably speaking for not only myself but the entire team when I say that you are not only a good ball player but an exceptional person. I can only imagine the pain you have felt these past few days and how you may feel but, for you to go out last night and give it your all in the game shows exactly what kind of person you really are. Our prayers go out to Jackie, his family, and the Raider baseball team from the Lady Raider softball team. We are praying for a speedy recovery.

This may not be exact but it's close. The first two batters grounded out giving CC two outs. The next two batters doubled which scored one run making it 3-2 still LC the girl on second advanced on a wild pitch and the batter got hit by a pitch putting a runner on first and third. The runner on first stole second the hitter reached first on a bobbled slap loading the bases. The next two batters walked which scored two runs making the final score 4-3 CC. It was definitely an exciting game that could've went either way. I will have to agree that there will difinitely be a fight to the finish when it comes tournament time because there are more than two teams that could finish in the top two and at that time of the season that's what everyone is working towards is a chance to advance including the two teams that played last night.

I have a list of the teams that will be in the tournament this year and the schedule for the pool play games will probably be listed tomorrow but will be on here for sure by the end of the week. They will be playing this weekend in Columbia's playday. They have two games Friday and three on Saturday.

Yes, she was. She is an exceptional pitcher and has worked very hard to get to where she is today. I wish her the best of luck in her senior year and in the future. She will be following the footsteps of her sister at Lipscomb who is also a great pitcher and great person. Never played with Falon but did play with Danielle and no matter what the situation she never got rattled which made her an even better pitcher. I wish her, Falon, and the rest of their family the best.

They have a scrimmage scheduled Friday at 5:00 at home.

As a whole the team looked great. There were very few errors and they hit ok but, there's still some work that needs to be done in key areas of the game. If they keep up the hard work and keep improving they have a good chance to be where they want to be at the end of the season. Hannah pitched great the first game and Lindsay pitched exceptionally well the second game I think they had just a couple of hits off both girls. Kasie went in during the fourth inning and that's when the rain set in and the game ended.

Anyways this board is about Coffee County this year not in the past. Who knows they come in this year and surprise a lot of people even you!!! This year isn't last year or years in the past it's now so lets just wait and see what they have and what they do because nobody knows who is going to do what or end up where.

That was a low blow. They didn't deserve the suspension and everyone that was in Chattanooga in May of 2000 knows it.

Since you know so much about Coffee County you should also know they didn't have red uniforms last year. So if I was a betting person I'd bet that was the main reason.

I am by no means trying to take anything away from the Riverdale team because they are good and are well coached. But I don't understand why people seem to think that Coffee Co is so weak or unable to beat them or anyone else in the state. They too have quiet a bit of talent. So I guess we will see when it gets started and in May who is doing what.

I know that Coffee County plays Tullahoma tonight and the district tournament starts tomorrow night. Tomorrow Franklin County and Lawrence County play at Lawrence County and if Lawrence County wins the tournament will be held there if Franklin County wins then the tournament will be held in Lincoln County.

This was a big win for the lady raiders the past few games they had been struggling with their hitting but last night they hit great and hopefully they will continue through the rest of the season hitting that way because they have a good chance in the post season if they do so. And as for youwilneverno make sure you wear your red because I guarantee that the Coffee County fans will have theirs on so don't count them out yet.
