7:00 at CPA

Having played Page earlier this year, and CA in the past. I have to say, unless CA is on a major down year, this is their game to lose. Much more disciplined. They are always great in the basics of the game.

For one thing, I am getting tired of this crap about Fairview being a dirty team. We had some players make some bad decisions, and they are no longer on the freaking team. The game against CPA had NO cheap shots, and if you think there were, you are just ignorant and looking for something to complain about. One injury was bad luck on a clean slide tackle on number 13 of CPA. No one wanted to see him get hurt, and everyone, including myself who was marking him up, wanted to see him get back on the field. Another one was a play where two players were attempting to make a play on the ball and had a bad collision. Both players went to the hospital, but that was definitely our plan. "Hey we can sacrifice our back-up keeper to get rid of one of their 33 players" That is just brilliant. The final hit was was when the keeper of Fairview slid at the ball, which was clearly hit first, and the CPA player continued on and was hurdled into the air. It looked bad, no doubt, but it was a perfectly clean hit. I am sorry for the injuries and I wish CPA luck throughout the rest of the tournament. I will personally be there on Thursday cheering them on. They won with class and if my senior year had to end, CPA was the team I would want it to be against. They won with class. It was a hard fought, clean game. Injuries happen in sports. CPA players and Fairview players were socializing on the field. It was a great game. Now the WH-Heritage guy who is on here, be quiet. You were not at the game. I am sorry, and once again don't act like you were treated so terrible last time when we played. You were probably the main person instigating the agression. Cussing out the fans? Yeah, really classy. But that is in the past. Don't come on here and start stuff like that, it is not needed. Grow up. Once again, good luck CPA. And Fairview, thanks for a great Senior season. But for now, Go Lions!

How did this game turn out, and what kind of teams are they? Are they a finesse, speed, what?

Record wise, FRA was having a down year. Based on pure seeding, it was not an upset. Still FRA is a strong experienced team and can always make a run, so in that sense, you could call it an upset.

I just now realized that... In fact I realized that I am an idiot... I play in 10... Fairview, Sycamore, White House - Heritage, Montgomery Central, Cheatam County, Harpeth, Creekwood, Clarksville Academy, and East Robertson

When and where is the final?

That is just White House, White House - Heritage is in another district.

I will take that as a disagreement, but not a very strong arguement. Nice job.

I think the US is not getting enough love here. I think, on paper, and right now that the only thing we have to go on, they are better than the Italians and Ghana. I would say a tie with the Czechs should advance them. Ghana is what? I believe in the 60's in the world. The Italians are in the teens and the Czechs are 3rd to our 4th. I think 4th is a little high, but I do believe the US is a top ten team.

Who do you think takes it? Any chances after districts? What are your opinions? My personal opinion is Sycamore... Cheatam Co. Clarksville Academy Creekwood East Robertson Fairview Harpeth Montgomery Central Sycamore White House Heritage

What about in simply A/AA? The AAA schools are pretty much always going to be better, so let's give some credit to the smallr schools. In Williamson there is CA, Fairview, Page... I am not sure about all the schools, but I know that at least CA and Fairview are very good teams this year.

This is a forum... not a newspaper... write like a normal human being, not like someone who is writting an article for your school newspaper.. a "striking" performance? riiiight... but on a side note... I agree with Bertier, they may be competitive, but I doubt they will be able to defeat CA or Fairview, Page seems to be a little weaker than in the past so maybe there, but who knows, this is only my opinion, good luck

Fairview was 4, not 3....

Calumbia Acaddemy is always going to be competitive. They have some competition coming from Fairview. That always seems to be a great game. Should make for an interesting season.

Since the topic is up for Fairview, might as well put it up for any Fairview players. Anyone got any information on CSAS? And are there any predictions for the game?

Fairview went into the last minute of the game wit hthe lead. Ref blew a call and gave CA a pk and sent it into overtime. Both teams scored once in overtime. Then in sudden death no one made any, obviously, and the it went to a shootout. The two teams matched each other in the first two rounds, but CA prevailed when Fairview's next kicks hit the crossbar.

Fairview on Thursday for Regional championship. Should be a good game. It went into double overtime last time.

Hay man lay off the coach. He has done nothing wrong. And if you want to call Fairview's goal "sneaking in before ca sets", then i guess i should probably mention the one where the CA keeper grabbed the ball after it had already gone across the line. The line judge even said it was a goal, but the center ref waved it off. Overall it was an awesome reffed game. At some point one team had to win. That game could have gone either way.

Fairview wins. Page is done. Page's goal came with about 7 minutes left in the game to prevent the shut-out.

For one thing half of the people on here are Fairview players and they have all been saying that they haven't done anything yet. It has been one or two people that come on here and talk trash. As for saying they are the worst team ever, well apparently not because they have won games, and have outplayed teh teams they lost and tied. Trust me i have been to all the home games. They aren't the best team ever because they aren't consistent, they will be sluggish at times. But they are still competitive, so stop all the trash talking and just talk about soccer, all the trash talking is all opinions anyways.

Zion pyed a great game on Thursday, and they missed a few shots. Fairview, in my opinion, just outlasted Zion. Zion ran out of gas at the end and Fairview was able to get a few goals. For one thing, Zion can be a lot better if they can just control their shots a little more. Fairview, however, did not have all of it's starting defense, they didn't have their center-mid until the second half (as a replacement, they were forced to play a freshman who made some mistakes), plus they have a replacement forward, who is a SERIOUS scoring threat, who is out with an injury. I am not sure about the player situation with Zion. I know that both teams could have played much better games. I would like to see both teams at 100%.

Yes Blackman is having a Jamboree on the 6th i believe. It is a week from Saturday.
