  1. earls again for preps coach of the year?
  2. im sure LC would have been a good game...they have a really good team....and u are right farragut is in a league by themselves....and as i have already said, farragut has earned and has mcminns respect. and they also have the respect of the 6 other teams in memphis. "been there done that"...only farragut can wear that t shirt..........it is an honor to make it to memphis and a honor to share the field with farragut........good luck to all
  3. mcminn has a tough game before memphis to think about......and once in memphis all teams there know that the road to the title goes through farragut.
  4. farragut certainly has mcminns respect
  5. assuming that both farragut and mcminn both win in saturday nites sectional, then they will play each other in the first game of the state. that would be #1 vs #2 playing in the first round of the AAA bracket.
  6. mcminn returns price, kimball, slack and shaver who have combined for 75 goals and 43 assists. the defence is led by keeper armstrong (listed in the top 5 in the chatt. area), hinshaw and axley......looks to be another good year for the tribe.
  7. mcminn has outscored their opponents 95-11 and yes.....there were some inferior teams included in that.....but i will give coach earls credit, he didnt run up the score when he could. one game he was up 7-0 with 10 minutes to go in the first half...the final score, 50 minutes later was 7-0. in two other games he was up 8-0 and 8-0 with over 30 minutes left to play....both games ended 8-0. these teams didnt suddenly get better in the middle of the game...earls makes the appropriate changes to hold the score down, like... working on passing...no shots within the box....clearing the bench and letting eveyone play with restrictions. there is no place for 26-0 and 16-0 games...my hat goes off to coach earls for his sportsmanship.
  8. these two teams have played 2 low scoring games because of mcminns inability to finish. the shots on goal are not that close. the good thing is that this is not a season ending game for either team.....and if cleveland will stay focused on the big picture they may be the surprise team to make it to memphis. i personally would love to see two teams from this district in the state....especially after hearing how weak this district is all year.............good luck to both teams.
  9. lol...i guess i did.... and as for LH10.....his prediction worked too....you may think its unintelligent but it was right....go LH10!!!!!.......nite owls
  10. my prediction.....if cleveland wins, the soccer posts on coacht will be cut by 50%...after, of course, the owls get through blaiming the refs and stuff.
  11. u owl fans post a lot...A WHOLE LOT!!!.......we all know u can talk, now can you back it..................evrey game the teams will get better and better
  12. thw winner of this game has a very good opportunity to advance to the state. and that in itself is a great accomplishment. best of luck to both teams.
  13. the further you move away from chattanooga, the smaller mccallie gets....and memphis is a long way
  14. the battle for the state will not be less competitive next yeart
  15. lemmiwinkss........to give credability to your rankings.......how many of your ranked teams have you seen play? please give games and location.....thanks
  16. oh....im sorry.....i didnt realize you were talking about players that have been in the northern united states for 2 years. bratcher was a good player when he lived here.....however his father took a new job up north a couple of years ago..... how can you consider him a factor on clevelands team today??????????????? lol...just go beat ooltewah with what you have...what you have IS YOUR TEAM
  17. jeff was..... and still is a great player...pat is also good....no... very good. players like that make their fathers proud
  18. you guys made me a prophet..........look at the cleveland - mcminn thread...lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. the owls have now started their thread...its called...."cleveland vs ooltewal"...they are doing their usual busy posting..............ho hum.......................they talk alot. watch the ooltewah posts die quickly within a week
  20. and one other thing.....the reason price is able to get those numbers is because u can not key on him.....nic shaver, andrew kimball and andy slack have nearly 40 goals between them.........who do you stop?
  21. gameplayer...are there players out there that score as well in select as they do against middle-of-nowhere high school teams? if so...who? they ALL play select and they ALL play high school. i agree that its tuffer to score against good select teams...........but jared price is not the only one to play select and high school soccer.....if he is great in high school it is only because he is good in select.
  22. ur right zap....hey i think there is a new ranking release that only YOU can see..$$$..lol...look and give me a call
  23. weekly...usually late tuesday or early wednesday
  24. it is surprising to see how the chattanooga area has slipped compared to knoxville....i always felt that the two were on fairly equal terms....however, a decent knoxville team would be a good chattanooga team today....and a good chattanooga team would struggle against the good knoxville teams. also after reading that the national trend in high school is public ed, it is not surprising to see the once soccer dominating private schools giving ground to public schools....just my observations....good luck to all
