  1. best of luck to both teams

well... not that all of the above wasn't fun to read and all... but it was completely irrelevant to the subject. ca7- in answer to your question, I have not watched Page play save for one game, and that game was a disgrace for the opposing team - not because Page played well, but for various other reasons. I have not watched Zion play at all. I don't doubt that they have improved from previous years, however, I do doubt that they would improve that much as to overtake Page. If someone thinks otherwise, please, tell me so. I'll be watching Zion next week...
  3. RyanDavis 17 I like your post. Well informed, not quite so subjective, I wish more people on the forums could post like yours. FYI: this was not intended for anyone on this particular thread
  4. liv4sokker - you'd be losing too if you were down to 2 healthy subs.
  5. As for the school play, it wasn't that they "wanted to participate" The teacher required all students in the class to audition for the play so all soccer players enrolled in that class were required to take part. As far as injuries go, there are a few minor injuries and only two season ending ones. In the Tullahoma game, they played all of their healthy players and finished the game with only 8 people on the field. What number from Page got the red card?
  6. I'm sure Camden has great players and athletes on their side of the field, but Faiview has some great talent that they are only starting to discover. Look for a hard hitting game with unexpected people stepping up on both sides. Also, even though the game's at Fairview, look to see a lot of Camden people showing up anyway. It will be a great game, a close, but good game. Friday nights are what it's all about. My uneducated pick : Fairivew over Camden 21-19
  7. Yes, I am a cross country runner. This is the fourth year in a row we have taken home the Region 4 A-AA Title. And I agree. Fairview’s sports have really turned around in the last few years. For instance, the 2001 Baseball Team you mentioned, the 2003-2004 Boys Soccer Team made it out of Districts for the first time and lost 0-1 in Sectionals. Girls Soccer is now competing with teams like Page and Columbia Academy that they used to get blown out by. And I believe that Fairview Football is speaking for itself with big wins over Lewis County and Cheatham County. Not only are the student athletes getting better, there is more school spirit and a much bigger sense of team. Also, Fairview has hired some outstanding teachers who double as very talented coaches. We are extremely lucky to work with these coaches.
  8. All I can say is best of luck Jackets and I cannot wait to se this game
  9. Can someone please tell me how Columbia Academy and Page have done in the post season? Thanks so much.
  10. fairview doesn't have a number 16

I agree. Zion: please continue to work hard. it really doesn't matter what other people think, but continue to work hard both in season and in your off season. you'll improve if you keep getting touches on the ball. try your best. teams can change with dedicated players.. jst keep trying
  12. the team in question is columbia academy not columbia central and i don't think they're underrated
  13. someone said they didn't remember Adrianne playing for CA a couple weeks ago. but I couldn't believe she wouldn't be. can someone from CA clear this lovely misconception up?
