Jackson co, and pc are getting no respect just because we live in the upper cumberland. We've only got one paper voting and how many does Grace Christian, Grace Baptist, and Temple have covering them? Probably a half a dozen. I understand that coming into pickett co. would have been tough for temple, but if temple had beat pc up here, they would have sent pc down the river and they would have never gotten in the top ten. JC and PC just better be prepared to get the short end of the stick.

I never wanted to get anything started, I was making a statement that one previous fan made our fans look like drug adicts with saying we would win by 20+, I never meant for it to come a county bashing until someone started in on it. Deal with me.

I love how one good season automatically makes you the power house of 7A and tennessee for that matter. Clay Co. did the same thing last year, where are they this year? Pickett was supposed to be 3rd in the district last year and ended up where not even I figured they would be, the substate. You know why Pickett co fans have huge ego's and huge heads? We've got 20 years of dominance of the district 7A and region 4A, 9 state tourny trips, 2 state titles, 1 state runner up and countless regular season, district tourny, and regional championships. Thats why our heads are huge, you may beat us one or two games in a year, but this here is a basketball program. We don't rebuild, we reload.

Well Jackson Co. is the supposed meth capital of the upper cumberland, but thats not saying that all people in jc are uses or have anything to do with drugs, just a well known fact. So maybe I do know something about it. You all talk about Pickett co fans getting that head shrank friday night, and how we are boosting ourselves up, the same thing can happen to jc friday night. Its a duel-edged sword lady and gents.

Jackson Co. and Pickett Co. both got screwed over by the way on the AP vote. Those voters must have had their votes in before Saturday nights games. No way Temple deserves 3 first place votes, are you kidding me? They should have dropped atleast to 5, Jackson should have moved up to 4. I can't believe Grace is still in the top ten, much less above Pickett co.. PC beat temple, Temple beat Grace by 40, thats right 40, if you get beat by 40 by anyone, you don't deserve to be in the AP top ten.

Thanks for unleashing the dogs on pickett co, and our fans. 20+? What the heck are you smoking or drinking? And I thought Jackson Co was the county with the drug problems. Pickett might win it by 5 maybe even 10 but no way in the world that they win by 20+. Heck Jackson Co. can't even win by 20+ plus. Thanks for making all of us Pickett Co. fans for looking like moron's.

Well I think 7A has the better teams at the top and they could beat any team in 7AA, but after Pickett and Jackson Co. I don't see anyone who could beat those 7AA teams, even the ones at the bottom of it. I guess maybe clarkrange and clay would give a good showing. I'll say going on the top two or three teams that 7A would be better.

I went to that game a couple of years ago when they played down at temple. I don't exactly recall the ref situation, but I do know that Skogen didn't dunk over Bailey, it was Groce... Bailey would have never got back to play defense on a fast break before the end of the half. FYI Bailey is playing at a bigger school than Skogen I believe. Pickett made it as far as temple did that year.

I'm usually one of the worlds worse to complain about refs in pickett co games. The foul situation at half time was dead even. Temple had two technicals count into there foul total, and they deserved both of them so you can't put that on the refs. I thought compared to the clinton co. game and the jackson co game up here that the refs where excellent. They really let both teams play. Skogen didn't get that 3rd foul til somewhere in the 3rd quarter, he just didn't have it tonight. I think its funny how all these people think Temple is still the better team when they proved tonight that they weren't. That's like us Pickett Co. fans saying that Pickett is better than Jackson Co., we aren't right now. The only difference is that we have another chance to prove it. It's interesting to point out that Jackson Co. lost to Grace by 2, Temple beat Grace by 40, and Pickett beat Temple by 10, and Jackson co beat Pickett by 1. I'm almost positive those 4 teams will meet in some shape or form in a month or so. Also interesting to note that if jackson and pickett win both there respective games on tuesday night, that something will have to give for one of the two hot teams when they meet up friday night.

No way TC gets a dunk at the buzzer, but its a nice thought, now Wright a three at the buzzer is a definate possibility. Game is at 6:30 since there is no girls game.

Pickett is a completely different team from the one who got beat by Grace last year. They have all the same players, with a few new ones coming off the bench. T.C. and Jacob have improved significantly. I think if Pickett can get Roddy his touches, and T.C. can stay out of foul trouble, they'll win this game, because jacob wright is gonna play his game and get his points, he just needs his big fellas to help him out. This is also James Gibson's first game back since he broke his collar bone against Jackson co. that should provide a big boost to the cats, gibson brings alot of energy to the court when he's out there. Pickett by 5.

Well I think all together pickett has the better team. I think they may have a mental block when they are playing a tough team for the first time. They lost two there 3 biggest rivals the 1st time around, (jackson co., clinton co. ky, and livingston academy) but then the next time they play la they beat them, and I could see them doing the same thing to jackson co. and clinton co. the second time around. But first things first, they have to get prepared for a really tallented temple team saturday night. I think getting gibson back will give them the extra boost they will need to push past jackson co. when that game comes around.

LA plays to the tallent of team its playing...they only beat pickett co. by 3 and then beat cleveland by the exact same score. Cleveland would beat pickett co. by 40, I think la can play with upperman, la by 3.

Should be back for the temple game next saturday if I ain't mistaken.

Big win for the bobcats, this is actually the first big win for them this season. Roddy played an amazing game.

It should be, there is no snow on the ground, and I'm nearly 100% sure that PC does not have a no school, no basketball policy. I believe a couple years back when I was in high school that school got cancelled on a night we were supposed to play la, and the game was still played even with some snow on the ground. Should be a 6:30 tip off just like expected.

Pickett Co. doesn't have a no school, no ball rule so it should be played. I haven't heard otherwise.

Bibb did shake the other teams coach's hand. I don't know where you got the idea from. I sat there and watched him after the game. I'm sure if he was mad it wasn't because of the officials or the other team, it was because his team handed the game to clinton co. by losing the ball at the end. Bibb is a classy guy. And as for the foul situation it was one sided in the first half but the second half at the end of the game was 8-8, don't know where you got the 14-9.

Must be giving them some bad officiating water before the game starts. Haha.

I think they can handle ramsey, dunn will be the problem for them though.

Pickett Co. definately can't score only 12 points in the first half like they did at LA, or they will get ran out of their own gym. PC has played three big games against their biggest rivals (la, jackson co., and clinton co,ky.)and lost all three games. I think they need to be leading going into the 4th quarter to win.

Whats the Predications for the game? Livingston Academy has been playing really well as of late, two close wins in the last two nights. Two weeks ago I would have said LA wins easily by 20 or even 30 but Pickett Co. has played three really good games in a row, even though they did lose two of them. I still think LA wins by no less that 15, but I don't think it will be the total blow out that I originally thought.

Should be a packed house for tuesday nights game in byrdstown, livingston always brings one if not the best turn out of the year for pickett. Whats the predictions and scores for the game? Livingston Academy has struggled alittle bit in there last two games, but I still give them the edge in the game, though if they play like they have the last two games Pickett Co. may come out with a win.
