First off clown, Coach Clark didn't see what #7 really did until he re-watched the film a couple times....coaches do actually have to COACH a football game, not pay attention to soap operas on the sidelines. Second off ur so-called "peppy lepew" is a great announcer who happens to be one of the most informed DB fans around. Keep your crappy opinions to yourself...and #7 has been made an example of if you hadn't heard...he has been suspended for a week and can't play what could be his last game as a senior. I hear SD has some big time receivers and a good QB....but so does DB and I think it's safe to say that DB has established the running game these past 2 games. DB drove down the field running the ball on the first drive against Ooltewah and put it in the zone. Duran made some mistakes last game but he's lookin to make up for it....and now that Lamon's back, it's all over. DB has had a good week of practice so far and we're ready for Soddy Daisy. It'll be a good game from both teams, I'm willing to bet each team will bring their pass game, but may the best team win....and we all know that team is DB. Roll Tribe Roll

I wish you Jeff Co. people would stop saying that the main reason is waking up on Friday morning...you all know full well that an extra weekend will help to prepare to TRY and beat DB. Your coach might say that this is the main reason for not playing on saturday, but I think you just want some more time to prep. I don't care if a woman is heisman material, she will still never be played and if she does it will be under choice circumstances, just like the girls on here that talk about playing football and wrestling and stuff. How many females do you think play football in Tennesee? 100, if that? Even if women can compete with males it would never be accepted because of the stereotypical public. Noone wants to see a woman playing football, and that's that, even though some might not agree, I'll bet 8 out of 10 people don't want a girl on the field, call me a chauvinist pig...but it's the dang truth.

Co-ed sports are just not meant to be, there are just too many different levels of fitness and ability.

Hey buddy, in case you didnt know the Lady Vols basketball team practices against guys, and beats them. They have bigger crowds than the guys team as well. I dont know of 6 national championships under the guys team at TN, and I'm pretty confidient the girls would whoop the boys butts! ....WOW, how can you even compare women's basketball to football? Comparisons aside, if girls can compete with guys playing football, then so be it, but from a guy's perspective girls are more fragile and not as tough as guys. This may not be true, but ask just about any guy and he will probably say that. This doesnt make it true, but it definetly stands out when a guy is going to tackle a girl and holds back because he doesn't want to "hurt them". I cant believe some people in this place are comparing girl's football to politics and women's basketball. The fact is that when women wanted to vote, they didnt have to get hammered in a football game to prove themselves, and when women wanted to play basketball, they sank shots and didnt have to get tackled by people. If you dont agree then hey, it's your opinion....but this is mine.

All that can be said is that DB hasn't been challenged all season, and OR hasn't either. This will be a great game, and it better be cause I'm tired of hearing about OR killing Bradley Central. I agree, Oak Ridge will be very strong this year, but a team that's too strong is usualy a team that ends up losing to someone that noone ever expected, such as DB and Karns...it takes a loss to show a team that they're not unstoppable and this is why they will lose more than 1 game this year, definetly to DB and maybe even McMinn County.

I have got to disagree, I haven't been to many, but out of the ones I have been to, DB is by far the best. Maybe it's just better when your on that 40 yrd line doing the walk....

Duran Ferguson from DB put up some VERY impressive numbers on opening night, it seems like all of your picks are comin from west TN, everyone overlooks the talent in little ol' east TN.

What a one-sided write-up? Who is to say that "this is the year" when they've said that for 11 years....This quote especially made me laugh... 'They can be taken. We just got to show them no respect.' No respect? The last thing you DON'T want to show a team thats owned you for 11 years is no respect. South better respect the fact that DB is and has been a better team for 11 years....the last and very last way you beat a team is to show them no respect. We'll have to see what respect they show when Duran puts up as big of numbers as he did last week and our defense hits them in the mouth.

Even though I dont understand his jokes, Major Hoople is right on with all the picks. DB will crush South like they have every year....they can string up as many rebel flags as they want and burn as many teepees that they want, but at the end of the 4th they can look up at the score board while they pack it up.

Noone can even compare to J. Fred at DB, it might not be the nicest or biggest, but come on out on a Friday night and you will know exactly where im comin from.

Although SHS is said to be better than in recent years, I highly doubt their corners can even compete with the speed DB has, Moten is sure to be back because he has practiced all this week and even without him we would still dominate South. DB freshman went undeafeated in the regular season, and shattered the DB records for margin of victory AND most points scored in a game, in 3 years these guys will be good.

Reed Powell from DB, this guy dressed for varsity and saw quite a bit of playing time for his age. This guy will be dominant next year, the year after, and the year after.
