  1. As much as I hate to say it, cddragonz is right. You guys losing 8 seniors? We won't hear from you in at least 2 years, but great season this year.
  2. 911 and baconbreath you both just need to stop talking. BC beat WS once, in the regular season, great job, but when it mattered you guys went home early, WS earned to be state champs, I'm not a WS fan, but they won, DB or BC didn't, you must accept that fact and finally admit that you got beat, great job you guys.
  3. Do you really expect people to NOT trash teams? We all represent different schools, and these schools have what we call rivals, and rivals don't necessarily like each other. This is probably why people are trashing other teams. Noone likes WS, just because all these represented schools got their butts handed to them this season. They don't deserve to be trashed, but they are, because they're just to good.
  4. Most nervous coaches? How would anyone know that?
  5. Waco is right, here in about 2 years. we'll see who's talking the trash. DB is going to be great when these freshman get a little older.
  6. Hey trojanbob, that post makes no sense, all you did was ramble about how WS is good....way to go, I couldn't tell what you were goin' to say seeing what your name is. Noone is "whining" about the players, we're comparing their talent to the coach's talent, and since u know what girl's b-ball posts look like, head on back to that room.
  7. I can agree with you somewhat, all that appears to be going through their school is raw talent that doesn't take coaching, but i never knew all that stuff about their coach. But, I'm still holding my ground in sayin that WS's talent is ridiculous, regardless of whether their coach has talent or not.
  8. So many posts and expectations brought to shame by Jackson North.
  9. That might be the most ignorant thing I've ever head. White Station's talent is NOT because of an unstoppable coaching staff, it's because of the the talent flow through that school year in and year out.
  10. Good post volntn, I agree with you. But in WS's case, theyre coach isnt OUTSTANDING, granted that they've been to state so many times that people just stopped counting. But they don't have that outstanding coach that contributes to their victories, they have talent, and talent can be brought to a team in many ways, but in WS's case, it's the town they live in.
  11. Population DOES have somethin to do with a team's talent, maybe not in all team's, but definetly is White Station's. Granted, WS is prob the best team in the state, noone can deny that. But they're based in Memphis, Memphis is not a tiny rural town like most of the other TN teams. Like my man said, Memphis is a basketball town....because it has so many ppl coming and going and living there. Think about it, more kids, greater array of talent, better basketball team.
  12. Who are you talking about football, I never onced mention football, so next time YOU open YOUR mouth, do your information. And population does have alot to do with it, you can't tell me that that much talent would come from any other place other than Memphis....look at their scores. Bradley is a good team, I'll give them that, but in any other case, population plays a HUGE role in the formation of a good highschool basketball team, and thanks for the back-up Waco, all these fools know that WS's talent level is ridiculously high, they shouldn't lose a game all year with all these players. They beat DB up and down the court, but not because DB didn't try...they played a decent game, and WS was still throwin' down on them. LIkE I SAID BEFORE, DB lost because of no lack of effort, they just played a ridiculously good team.
  13. I'm only goin' to say one thing....You go compare the population of the Tri-cities to the population of Memphis, then come talk to me. WS's talent pool is 10 times as big, WS can beat some Division 1 college teams. And No, I did not say I liked my chances, I said we HAD a chance, anything can happen in basketball. PLUS, if you would have read my other articles, you would know what I really thought. Oh yea, my opinion about DB has never changed, the loss tonight was not because of a lack of effort, so don't go sayin that I "Play a different fiddle", whatever the heck that means.
  14. DB played a good game, our boys played their hearts out. No way can you blame Dobyns-Bennett for losing, espacially since White Station has Memphis for a talent pool. Good game DB, and tough luck, no reason to be dissapointed.
  15. As much as I love Dobyns-Bennett, I don't think they will as talented as they are this year. I mean, Ray Duncan is dressing out for them now, and he didn't even start on the JV team. The only returning talent they have is Ryan Blackwell. Hopefully some of their younger players will excell next year.
  16. Yea Lamon Williams didn't get along with Coach Morgan, but he also didn't get along with Coach Graham Clark, Dobyns Bennett's football coach. So, you never know.
  17. I would have to say Jay Hughes from Volunteer....just because he's all over the place, and hardcore.....his senior year will be a good one.
  18. I personally haven't seen enough East TN teams play to call it out, so I'm wondering what yall think.
  19. You guys said that last year when gomab, I, and others tried to speak the truth. What was that final, 92-56? Dude, this is a totally different year, all thought i was there last year and saw that butt kicking. But this is totally different, and i think DB is a whole lot more prepared than last year. Last year DB was just excited to make it that far, this year theyre actually goin' to play to win,
  20. I'll agree with that, especially Kemp. Never seen him play, but everyone talks about him, and his numbers are impressive.
  21. Dobyns Bennett has a load of heart, if making a pre-season come back and goin to state doesn't take heart, I dont know what does.
