  1. Well please tell me then that its a typo error on the website that Pigram is 7'1 because if your telling me Pigram is a 7'1 shooting guard.... And thnx for the cheesehead comment :justwrestle:
  2. What do you predict for tonight's games? Shelbyville vs Greeneville Craigmont vs Powell I think Craigmont and Powell will be a great game and Craigmont will win by 3 I think Shelbyville will be a joke of a game and Shelbyville will win by 20 or 25.
  3. Ok you take White Station boys to lose 50-25 to D.Bennett now you take Shelbyville to lose to Greeneville by 9??? How do you figure? LOL.
  4. If Greeneville plays Shelbyville the same way that they played Wilson Central, I would say about 25. Granted it COULD be alot worse but Shelbyville will let up in the end.
  5. Wow I see why Wilson Central stepped down to Greeneville now. I wouldnt want any of that either if I were Wildcats either.
  6. 28-10 at end of 1 to a team with 2 losses..... Wow.
  7. http://www.coacht.com/inside/roster.cfm?Sc...D=3&SeasonID=25 Pigram 7-1
  8. Greeneville had 6 rows of seats in the student sections filled......Wilson Central had 1/4 of the gym nearly filled for their student section (thnx to principal letting kids out early ) Unfortunately, our support could not resurrect the dying wildcat.
  9. I was in the Wilson Central section when their game was on. Left after that. Is Shelbyville on now? Wahts the score?
  10. I can't complain. We won districts and regions and sectionals, so I just consider this a great lesson for the young lady wildcats. I must say that I was disappointed with their performance today. They did not lead the entire game, and they seemed to not care at all the entire game. After they got down 18-13 they were just shrugging their shoulders. That win against Antioch may have gotten in their heads the way they dominated that game, that or they were looking ahead to Shelbyville. The defense was aweful, noone boxed out even once the entire game, and Greeneville's 6'1 post players definetly took advantage of the laziness by Central. We played a double team defense on the ball handler the entire game, althought they were always finidng the open player and was a very weak double team defense. It was about a 2 pt game going into the fourth, but Greeneville just lit it up in the fourth. GL next year Wildcats and gl to Greeneville.
  11. I know its an old topic, but I find it interesting to see how everyone's predictions at the start of the season for district 9AA panned out... Everyone took Mt. Juliet???? Wow. They ended #5 seed, #4 in district tourney, and got eliminated by H'Ville in second round of regions. jojomas and lilrey3003 seemed to have the best idea of what was going to occur this season. Wilson Central stunk eh jojomas? They were 2 of your 4 LaVergne losses this season. How's LaVergne looking for next year anyway??
  12. Championship? They have 0 shot to get out of the first round with Wilson Central in the way Of Course, Im biased
  13. Mt. Juliet is loses nobody unless Alysha Clark cannot return from her unfortunate injury. Wilson Central will lose 2 players but we will be returning our 4 main girls. I see Sara Williams and Tierney Jenkins starting underneath, Lindsay Antoine moving to SF after Jan Davidson leaves, then Gassie and Oconell returning as guards next year.
  14. White Station lose to Rhea County by 25? LOL!!!! They're 28-11. White House is like 36-2 and top 25 nationally. Their 7'1 post guy would probably have 25 alone against Rhea County .
  15. Well I sit at our stats table, and that was the greatest H.S. game that I have ever witnessed at our young school. I was ready to jump over the stats table and into that big crowd at halfcourt after game, but controlled myself and went around it I ain't getting a second ejection or technical foul at the stats table this season like I did when we played Gallatin I t was more than just the victory itself. The victory marks our first ever trip to state in any major athletic (except hockey but I really don't call that major in High School). Also, two of our players were former players at McGavock, and it was great to see those guys not only win that game, but how they were the two biggest differences in that game. How the one guy made 2 free throws with six seconds left to make the score from 56-55 to the eventual final, 57-56. There was a ton of emotion at that moment, for the players, fans, and school itself. This wasn't like White House or Bradley Central. They could care LESS about the district championship, region championship, substate, semifinal, quarterfinal, or even making an appearance championship game. To them, all they know how to do is winning the entire thing because they do it so often. This is something new and exciting for everyone here at WCHS, so I would not say theirs a problem with cutting the nets. They'll just have to open the check book and buy new ones
  16. Go Central I hear Greeneville has 2 girls 6'1 ....... DANG. Luckily, our school is letting us students out early to attend the game. I sure as heck will be there (Tho Im a manager what difference does it make...) GO WILDCATS!!!
  17. I agree. I think Mt Juliet vs Wilson Central is definetly a possible matchup for next season in the championship game as MTJ loses ZERO starters and WCHS will lose 1. Heck, Wilson Central has 2 freshmen and 2 sophomores that get bunches of playing time. WCHS has definetly overachieved, and with Gassie and our freshmen coming back next year, we will be a force to be reckoned with. Next year: WCHS vs MTJ.....don't bother to buy tickets. Everyone around Wilson county will have MTSU bought out within the first 5 minutes it is announced
  18. Well, I have returned from the game, and what a game it was. This is indeed a classic that Wilson Central fans shall never forget. I can see why McGavock can score so much. A combined over 80 rebounds in this game, and McGavock went about 22 for 74 shooting on the night. Every time they missed tho, they seemed to get the rebound. It did not help that Nathan Thomas, our center, did not see much action in the 2nd and 3rd quarters because of foul trouble, and that our other big post guy, Jordan Calhoun, had to change jerzees and be called out of the game for the entire 2nd quarter due to some mild bleeding in his back.. Once both these guys were out in the 2nd quarter, McGavock took it from there. Our lead turned to a 9 point deficit at halftime, and our replacement post guy could not even hit a WIDE open layup before halftime to cut it to 7......well, he didn't see any more action in the 2nd half LOL. The 2nd half was different, as our team came out fired up. Nathan still could not play, and we struggled underneath. But the 32-23 game quickly turned into a 43-41 McGavock lead at the end of 3. Could Central defy the odds and go to the State championship??? The rest of the game was a 2 point difference, and some crazy fouls, but with 6 seconds left, down 1, McGavock committed a controversial foul on Alex Perry, the former McGavock player, and now was his time to light up the Raiders.... 1st shot....GOOD -=-----2nd shot.....GOOD!!!!!!! A last second shot by McGavock was short, and Wilson Central wins 57-56 and will advance to the State tourney with the ladies..... Nearly the entire gym runs onto the court and celebrates with their Wildcats..Even the formerly ejected stats spotter GO Wilson Central!!!
  19. Our girls made school history with their 1st state appearance, can our boys?? This will be a heckuva matchup, as 2 of our players are former students and from what I understand players at McGavock. They are pumped for this game, and so am I. I'll update yall on the final when I get back. Gonna witness how these 12AAA powerhouse teams can score so much. GO CENTRAL!!!!!!
  20. Glencliff, McGavock, Pearl Cohn, Strattford...... How do these schools end up having scores like 103-95 in 4 regulation periods, but then schools like LaVergne or Wilson Central will struggle to hit 50 by the 2nd overtime periods??? Are 12AAA schools just a bunch of streetballers who don't play defense??? Not trying to trash anything about 12AAA, but I really have wanted to know.
  21. To be honest, I was watching the clock, and I dunno y but the clock keeper stopped the clock with 0.2 seconds left and Connell shot about 5 seconds later....That was a good call by the refs to change it.
  22. Congratulations to my Wildcats. I sit at the stat table for our team and spot stats for the person who enters them into the computer (So basically Im a spotter), and they have been great this year. Their only losses really all came at once (one when Gassie was hurt) but since then they have been on a roll I was really suprised at how weak the 12AAA champions were. Halfway thru the 1st the score was 7-6, 6 minutes later the score is 34-6 LOL. During that stretch I had to yell over the crowd and nearly lost my voice having to yell so loud (and so often). Thought I was going blind too looking at the scoreboard after every score during that stretch. Im proud no matter what they do in state. It's our schools 1st district and regional championship, and its nice to know that our B-Ball programs can do more than what our football teams can Both our starting and reserve centers are freshmen and are amazingly good, Lindsay Antoine is a sophomore, Kelly Gassie and Kellie O'Connell are both Juniors, and Jan Davidson is a senior. All but Davidson and Dotson will be back next year, and I can't even wait to see what 2 maturing Wilson Central and Mt. Juliet teams will do next year with Alysha Clark returning along with the rest of the starters. Wilson Central is only 3 years old, but if it werent created, just think what Mt. Juliet would be like with Gassie Clark Hudson Pigue and McFarlin starting.......LOL!
  23. Gotta go with my Wildcats of course from Wilson Central Rhea Co. Dobyns-Bennett White Station Bradley Clinton Glencliff. If anyone takes Hendersonville...... Fairley
