  1. Umyphatcow is Charlie Purcifal (I may have spelled it wrong). From the information he has given out it is pretty easy to narrow down who this is. Charlie- you stink, Dave stinks, and your spelling stinks...so quit yapping and degrading others.
  2. Farragut has the most talent in the state. We don't have the attitude to win these games. I did not mean for it to sound like that, I was just angry at the way we are playing lately. Lion, I honestly don't care if you think I am not a Farragut player. Talent can only take you so far. A coach once told me (and still does) that he wants a team that not only loves to win, but hates to lose, and that is what we lack. I know I'm giving my best, and I hope that we all get that attitude of hating to lose soon, especially by Thursday.
  3. you know what...I take that back. Farragut doesnt even care this year from the looks of the score against Catholic tonight. I say 2-1 Bearden.
  4. Farragut by two. Farragut won't be getting too many more losses the rest of the year. If you compare every position they seem to have Bearden covered at most of them.
  5. Im calling Farragut and Science Hill up at the top, that's if they don't play each other in sub state. CAK will also be up there at the end, as will Catholic and CBHS.
  6. Farragut has really been over-looked to some extent. They are still a great team, defenitely 3-peat contendors. Catholic has always had a great team, as well, and from the oak ridge win it looks like they have a good connection unlike Farragut. I would say that Farragut still has more talent than Catholic, they just lack that chemistry, but I think they will have a great game tonight. 18-17, Farragut.
  7. Or my predictions could have been referring to the regular season game, which was 3-1 Farragut, I think Jared Britcher had two goals (one was a shot from 30 yards out) and Aaron Doyle had one (a back door header). Im not sure about the stats of the district game though, I can't remember.
  8. Nicely done onthepitch. The score I predicted was 2-1 in favor of Marvyville for the district semifinals...correct me if I am wrong. The score ended up being 4-0, Farragut. I guess I will just remain anonymous with questions like that.
  9. Lion, If you honestly don't believe me then go ahead and ask me any question about the past two season of Farragut soccer. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just hoping you would stop making us look bad. Just listen to me. The team that I would like to beat would have to be Mcminn County, because they are in our class and they are one of the most dangerous team's in the state this year.
  10. I'm a Farragut player and as much as I would hate to admit, that made me fall to the floor. Although that was a bit too long, it was funny as heck. It gave me an ab workout. But you two need to drop it down a notch on the arguments. Nobody else wants to put up their posts when they see two people going at it the whole time. South Doyle guy, I'm sure the coach of the Farragut team wasn't trying to drop out of a challenge with you guys (like you said). With the confidence you have in your team this year, it sounds like you guys are much more improved. I'm sure coach regrets not scheduling a game with you all, he likes good competition. To the farragut guy, you need to settle down a little bit, you are starting to make us look bad. We have lost some games to some really good teams. These games will have been forgotten by the time we are in Memphis, that's if we get through everyone. The more you praise our team, the more people expect out of us, and when we fail to do so it looks bad on our part...as if we are cocky. So you guys just need to drop it.
  11. I'd have to agree. Elite Ralph Lundy is basically a boot camp with a soccer ball. They make sure you get what you paid for. The Elite is ten times harder than the regular. You basically have to get permission or invited to get into that class.

LC, what in the world are you doing up so early?
  13. I may have misunderstood one of your sentences, but did you say that Mcminn has better talent that Farragut? Are we talking in the past or present? Mcminn is and has been a talented team, but at no point were they ever as talented as Farragut...not even now. Im not trying to stir up stuff, just telling how I see it. They are both great teams and I will end it like that.

where did you get this information? soccerinfo.com has not come out with the new rankings yet
  15. Thanks for giving a good example on the criticism I was talking about. Excuse me though, how embarrassing. I mean East Tennessee.
  16. If these Farragut players came from any other school they would be treated much more differently. Because of the schools past achievements I can see that they are an easy target. To say that Farragut will come out 27-0 (even though they already have a loss) is ridiculous though. Farragut has one of the toughest schedules in the state. To finish out the season with 3 or even 4 losses is still looked upon by others as a great team. Oak Ridge finished last years season 2nd in AAA with 7 losses, and they were a great team. Criticize me all you want, but if they came out with just 1 or 2 losses and a state championship I will be stunned… mainly from the few losses, not the state title. They are still the best team in the state as far as I can tell, but they are beatable. Every team has their great games and bad games. All Farragut would have to do is have their bad game against a team's great game and well...enough said. More than likely this will happen, and more than one time.
  17. Just wondering how all of the past tennessee high school players are doing that are presently playing college soccer. Ive heard alot of great things about some of them, and heard some have decided not to play anymore. Just wanting to know who these people are and how well they are doing.
  18. I think you need to take another look at what you just said. He was a college soccer player. Even if he did sit out most of his career, he can still say that he was a college soccer player...unlike most of these high school players. Not everyone is capable of playing at the next level, but he was so I guess that does give him a little knowledge about the game and how it should be played.
  19. The question isn't winning state, its going to state. I feel that more teams have a greater shot of going to Memphis than last year. Yet Maryville will have a tough time getting through either Farragut or Bearden out of districts, I believe. I may be wrong though so no criticizing, just correct me. South Doyle on the other hand did not have the greatest squad last year, but this is a new year and who knows...maybe they have turned into a much more impressive team. Out of East Tennessee AAA I believe Farragut and Oak Ridge will head back over again. But that doesnt mean I am saying they are easily going to do this. Maryville and South Doyle will both give them a run for their money and who knows, maybe those will be the two that will represent Tennessee.
  20. Football is also played in different seasons for certain states. Maybe they work around it to where football and atleast a men's or women's soccer program play at different times of the year.
  21. farragut is not the team that they were last year. if they dont have that connection anymore then i cant see them getting it any time soon. farragut may have the better players but mcminn will have the better connection. it should be a toss up when they play. but i will go with mcminn, they still have that Andy Slack and Jared Price which are great players and leaders. it seems as though farragut doesnt have a leader as of right now, hopefully by this matchup they will.
  22. im gonna reply myself and say Maryville 2, Farragut 1...im going with the upset.
  23. F-A-R-R-A-G-U-T.... you guys are having a hard time spelling it.
  24. Farragut doesn't even get on these boards, much less talk trash. But i would like to see Catholic win it this year, although their chances are slim with CBHS in their way.
