I've never seen so many excuses in one post. Hey, you lost, accept it. The manner with which you just posted is an embarassment to you and your team, I'm sure they would be disappointed if they were to read it. On another note, I hope your injured players are all-right. Can anyone who was at the game tell me how the game went, possession, shots on goal, assists, goals, etc.
  2. Alex Gregor (McCallie) was offensive MVP. Tom Jackson (McCallie) was defensive MVP. As for DII, I have no idea.

Doesn't it always come down to who finishes their chances?

    Fields

McCallie's field is always nice, but the crown is somewhat.. how do you say it.. ridiculously huge? But as far as the nicest field, CCS always has a full, green field.

Who had the red for Ooltewah? Perhaps it was Mr. Wally?

Pat is now playing centre mid for us, and it's awsome that you mention Philip. He's scored around 6 goals this preseason, so watch out for the trash man. McCallie beat Farragut.
  8. McCallie wins 3-0 with goals comming from Philip Brock, and two from Nouri Rahbe (one of which was a PK). Overall McCallie seemed to dominate possession, with USN getting a few very good chances off of free kicks and long throw ins. USN's forward's were very quick, and their defense was pretty solid but they seemed lacking in the midfield. McCallie opened the game with 15-20 minutes of some very very solid soccer, but seemed to become a little disorganized as the game went on.
  9. Sorry man, but it sounds like you are the one who is having a poor preseason. Scrimmages do mean something, and if you aren't trying to win every time you step on the field something's wrong. No one is talking smack. Some of us value every second we get on the playing field, where as you seem to only care about the stats and W/L collumns.
  10. You don't sound like a soccer player from McCallie, and if you are one you should be ashamed. Notre Dame has a good ammount of skilled players on their side. So quit running your mouth and embarassing not only yourself but also the McCallie soccer team.
  11. Having played with Daniel a lot this summer and fall, I would have to say he is one of the most purely skilled players I have ever seen at his age. His speed and ball control are amazing, but as ostornado said his size does limit him somewhat. However when it comes game time, don't be suprised to see him go up with some 6 footers and win the ball, or completely embarass your teams best player. Two sophomores to look out for are Nouri Rahbe and Joel Bradford of McCallie.. Nouri lives for soccer, and Joel is just plain fast. Joel is comming out of Basketball and Football before, so he is clearly rusty, but nothing a week of practice and scrimmages won't fix.
  12. My AZT90 IIIs are eating my feet alive, possibly because I have a fairly narrow foot and the shoe is pretty wide. Right now I'm looking for some old Predetor Manias but I'm having a difficult time finding anyone who sells them. I'm also looking at the Predetor Pulse and the F50+. Any detailed opinions on either of those shoes would be much appreciated.

  14. Darn pot head hippies ruining our society. Now on to those bandies!
  15. I think he may be saying they kept themselves from scoring!
