The whole not playing issue started last week when Dr Hedge called a meeting with the head coaches at DC. They were told that DC would not be playing D Burg any more. Those coaches in turn started calling the D Burg coaches to tell them. D burg didnt have a clue this was happening until then. It is what it is. Not playing anymore.

Only 3 out of the 4 runs were earned?? Uh thats not good- 3 earned runs - 1 unearned. Sounds like a pitcher got ripped hard- who was the DC pitcher that Milan pounded on Monday night?

Do JV teams usually play 9 in the field and have a different group to hit? 5 DH's ?? ha. And no- most teams don't have kids that play a lot of varsity play jv ball- unless you don't care about developing all of your players

Didn't the "new transfer" M. Bowser transfer 2 years ago and quit the DC team before the season started last year? Not hearing much about the Bevis kid? he still playing?

Uh Uh Uh Dyer Co. spent 11.3 hours in the rain this week- DANG h2o 73 who cares. Hope the coachin staff worked on them getting that tail kicked in the rain so the ride back won't be so uncomfortable-HA.

Dyersburg's Les Smith verbally commited to University of Louisiana- Lafayette. Les was also named to the All Tournament team at the Area Code games held in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

did the TBCA not try to voice the opinion of baseball coaches across the state ? there is power in numbers- but not if someone or some group is not willing to step up. face it- it's somewhat the baseball community's fault for letting this happen by not keeping up with what the gustapo (tssaa) does behind closed doors

In 91 they played Germantown 1st game in regions and Ripley in the regional championship. Ripley defeated CBHS in first game of region. BUT- those 3 were dominating! Fultz could also drop a bunt down anywhere w/ 2 stikes on him and 2 outs and get on -
