Okay. First question, what aspects of the game do you not have respect for? You said that most aspects you do? So which ones do you not? Second question, I am not a parent. And if my kids played high school baseball, I would not be building their team up or giving my STUPID opinion on a STUPID message board. It takes away from the kids, DUDE! Third, I love baseball, and it has done/did wonders in my life. However, baseball does not mean education for 99.1% of kids out there. So, if we are really going to talk about kids bettering themselves, let's have a message board for the "MATHLETES" Fourth, I couldn't name one kid from DC this year. I have no problem with them. I hate the school. Not the kids. So go screw yourself on that note. Me hoping DC loses every game is no different from me hoping the Cardinals lose every game. if it were, there would not be a stream of messages on a stupid message board about DC and my comments.

REALLY! because someone hopes that a team will lose?! what are you suppose to do, rout for all teams to win? this is what i am saying. i hoped that DC would lose. they didn't. good for them. i hope they lose the next game, and if they win that one. good for them! i hope they lose the won after that. if DC lost every game in every sport for the next 25 years, i would be estatic. nothing about sportsmanship. just don't like anything that has to do with DC. and respect for kids. REALLY! if anyone who posted on this message board, respected kids, we would not be posting messages about high school games. so just to put it another way, in the sportsmanship way, GOOD LUCK ON WED USJ! is that better. same difference, just in the postitive instead of the negative. however, when it all boils down to it, i am still hoping USJ wins and that DC loses.

in AA, those who move to the region 7 finals pretty much have an automatic bid to the state b/c they play the memphis region. so it really doesn't matter who pitches, both are state bound.

whoever wins the game between covington and dyersburg hosts. that is the way the braket is set up on tssaa.org. don't know why they do it like that but they do. they could just as easily do it another way

First off, the score for the 14AA champ game is not posted anywhere. the only game has it 2-1. put it on the site or shut your hole. haywood, north side, fayette-ware, ripley and then usj and covington. two teams that ccould compete. and that equals toughest district in the state. ripley got beat 4-0 by obion county who didn't win a game in 13AA. north side got beat by a total of 63 runs against covington and usj, but then beat haywood by 20. haywood hasn't won since march, and fayette-ware doesn't look like they won a game all year. your absurd to call that the toughest Dis in the state. when you know you are gonig to regionals at the beginning of the season, you are not in the toughest Dis. get a clue or shut your hole, as well. Dyersburg (Co-Champs reg. season and R-UP DTournament = 29 wins), Gibson Co. (D-Champs), Dyer. Co (who beat USJ and was picked by everyone to go to regions), Milan (Going into post season-consensus #1 in AA)-------nuf said

Who gives a crap about Gibson County. They won the district, big deal. tomorrow morning they will be just another team still alive. the region is a whole new tournament. heck if you play a team enough you are bound to win a few, at least i would hope so. winning the district tournament means nothing. all that matters is if you are #1 or #2 to get into the region. And finally my answer to the question: USJ or Covington? i would say that neither is in a very good position. D'burg is 16-6 against AA opponents. covington had a pretty week scedule compared to D'burg as well, and they only scored 2 runs all year against USJ. like i said you are liable to beat anybody you play them enough. As for USJ, they have to play at Gibson County, against a very hot team. that is never good. but i think the streak stops on monday. sorry guys you have battled through a lot, and you should all feel all warm and tingly inside, but the dream stops now. prediction for wednesday, 5/17 USJ @ Dyersburg

yeah to get a save you have to finish, and to get the win you have to pitch until the game is official if you are a starter. If nobody does that then it goes to threw the most relief innings. but yes, if the starter in this game, for instance, would have been losing in the 2nd he could have gotten the loss. i did stats for about 2 years as an assisstant. unless the rules have changed.

hey, win players don't do there jobs the coaches job is to get on them. there job is not to talk pillowtalk with them until they decide hey i want to grow up be a man and pitch like i know how. dewon was dominate in college/minors and now he is the majors he is a big ol' baby. granted, sweet lou probably has to be awful sometimes, but if dewon doesn't like it he has the opportunity to come home and work in a facotry/grocery store/etc, like anyone else. he needs to quit whining and do what they say. in my opinion, until you win 6 cy youngs (maybe 7, i lost count)like Clemens, you keep you mouth shut and you fall in line. players like Dewon are what is probably wrong with the Devil Rays anyway. Players saying, this team is terrible and your telling me i have to go down. News Flash to Dewon, you are one of the reasons the team is terrible. You can't throw a strike and when you do, it is headed the other way going 110 mph. Go to the minors and shut up.

With 8AAA and 7AAA now set; does HC have a chance of breaking through and winning a sectional/substate game on friday. they barely beat a team in hardin county which i though was pretty weak. i hope they do break through, i am tired of seeing the same Memphis metro team every year. we need some new blood. a cinderella story. good luck HC. i beleive you are going to need it, wed. and fri., b/c houston or collierville, and cordova are probably 3 of the 5 best teams in the state.

Dyersburg is Dangerous. There pitching staff is deep and they have a decent lineup. Not to take anything away from Hardin Co. b/c i haven't seen them play this year, but last year they were the most undisciplined and atrocious team in the district. one bad inning, well not even that, one bad play and they were done. Dyersburg is young and a very disciplined and well coached team. I'll take discipline over lunacy anyday, i don't care who has the most talent.

did mcadams sign as a pitcher or everyday player? which is he better at? i don't know much about him, but that is pretty cool that he is going to state
