Typical Warren Countian response its the coaches fault in every sport when we lose. Last I checked there were 3 other coaches. The coaches cant hit the ball and catch it for them. Its just a down year with the baseball program. We dont reload here we have to rebuild.

Talent? This is the least talented team WC has had in a long time. I dont care how bad you are, no team loses 12 games in a row in baseball. You have 3 returning starters(1 pitcher). 2 everyday players returning and one of them hit 8th in line up last year. Most of the starters are Jrs and have never seen the field until this year. Its going to be an even longer year for the Pioneers. Struggling all phases of the game. Pitching, hitting, and defense. If I'm not mistaken, the radio said the team has double digit strikeouts the last few games. Rogers (senior)is the only bright spot we have so far this year.

Hoop 02, didn't mean to offend you. I just offered my opinion. I guess you like my opinion as much as the girls program. If you don't have anything good to say please be quiet. Our girls will struggle but I will keep rooting them on.

Generally speaking, most athletes that play multiple sports are usually your better athletes. Its not there fault they are with other sports.Trust me I've seen them play. Nobody's on that bench that shouldn't be on that bench.We WC fans just have to admit, its going to be a long season. We don't have enough talent to compete and win. Our better players(2) would be 7th off the bench with most of our district foes.Hoop, I know you aren't one of those parents that think because you come to practice everyday you should play. That part of being on the team. Thats part of the problem here. This is not jaycee or elementary ball. This is High School basketball.

I do think there is a problem with the program when we lose back to back district games by 50+. I'm not going to sit here and put all the blame on the coach. I'm not at practice, so i don't know what goes on there. We have another problem with players quitting the team. Maybe the coach's fault, maybe it isn't. But what happened to your parents not letting you quit. Finish what you start. The coach has been there awhile, parents and players know what they are getting into when they tryout for the team. I put some blame on the our parents in WC. Its a bad example when you let your kids quit anything.

Madewell has been there 3or 4 years. 2 playoff appearances. Doubled the number of players on the roster. You guys in WC are never satisfied. Every coach loses the respect for the players when their parents are telling them how great they are and they never play. Give me a jersey # of a player that should of been playing a lot all season and never played. They played the best they had. There is an old saying :"sometime your best just isn't good enough". NO there is not alot of talent on this years squad. We had some decent football players, but not a lot of talent.

Really? Who you going to hire? I don't see any big time coaches knocking on the door. The quaterack runs it 2 out of 5 times when there is a pass play anyways. I seen Moran run many traps this year. You guys love to ask for coaches to step down, even when you don't have anyone to replace them. To be honest, I am just glad we have people on the staff that care about the players and program. NObody was calling for them to lose their jobs last year. You guys seem to pop up when we lose a game or two. Suprise a new poster.

I agree somewhat. I think WC played tough and competitive the first half. Turnovers will kill you playing against anybody. Riverdale is at thel level that we want to be at. I was at the game and felt we were competitive early. "If" we had some of those great backs(athletes) they had, we could of kept some drives going offensively. It would of been a closer game. Probably not a win but a closer game. I think Madewell and his staff did a good job this year. A few more natural athletes and I think the program will be able to beat and not just compete with the big guys in the region and midstate. Great job Pioneers! You had a great season. You fans in WC need to get off the coaches back and support. You guys think you know so much,go help coach and make us better. Quit talking behind their backs and go coach. If I thought I knew enough to help out i would volunteer my time to help the program.

Riverdale people you were right this guy is an idiot. Warren Co. head coach and staff are good people. Nobody has said anything about their coaches or players having no class until you. It was some of the players idea to jump on the "R". Matter of fact the players were told by the coaches when they came off to the sidelines before the kickoff, since you jumped on that you better bring it. You are waking up a giant. I think it was good to see WC with that kink of emotion and intensity for the best team in the midstate. The players said all the coaches were stunned when it happened. Different teams have different ways of getting fired up. That is the 1st time WC has done anything like that all year. Riverdale you guys have a great team. Good luck and win the state for Middle Tennessee.

Coffee County dominated the game tonight. They capitalized on 3 fumbles(1 inside the 5) and a interception. Warren Co. dropped a touchdown early. After that play straight down hill. Congrats Coffee. Warren Co. will never be a consistent winner making that many mistakes against quality teams. I thought we were a better team than that. I guess I was wrong.

I think if WC can eliminate the big runs to just a couple they will be in good shape. I know thats a big if, with the talented rb's at Coffee. I am a BELIEVER. Go Pioneers.

I agree with Coffee Co. owning the Pioneers of late, but I think things are a little different. For instance 3&4 years ago the Pioneers were terrible and didnt care about winning. It was the last game of the year "I" think they just wanted the season to end. Last year you caught W.C. at a good time. They just clinched a playoff spot and they were believing all the hype that they were good. This year I think the mind set is different in WC. These players are playing more as a team and they don't care(at least not showing) it if other teammates score touchdowns. We have basically new players stepping up every week on offense that are making plays. Officer, Moran,Holden,Wilcher,Rich, and Mullican can all make the plays when given the opportunity. I say WC by 10. But it will be a great game. We know Price will run it up if he gets the chance. Go Pioneers

Who do you think we will have a chance to beat?

The word around town is we are going to struggle again this year. I don't think we will be competive in the district at all. I think we are too soft and too small. If we want to play like coach Smith's style, we have to be tough. The newcomers will not make a difference except adding numbers to the roster. The sophmore bunch has no real good players. We need to run the system and play hard. You never know what can happen, that's why we play the games. Good luck.

I agree with you 100%. Lets give the coaches and players credit. That is something people can never take away from the players. Times are different now that back then by making the playoffs. It was tougher then. Take nothing away from this team and staff. Great job on making the playoffs in back to back years.

Hold on WC60. I have been around the Pioneers after some of your loses this season. I have seen that same expression on some of you guys faces and in some of your play this season.It looked like to me a lot of you guys could care less if you win or lose. You guys win one game and you want to tell other teams how to compete and fight. You guys were supposed to win that game easily and you did, congratrulations on the win. Cumberland Co. keep your heads up and fight to the end.

I agree with you kellraiser. Coaches you are doing a great job! Keep up the good work and continue to coach. Don't let that small percent of people who complain and blame you guys for everything get you down. No matter what job you have, evrybody is not going to be happy. One thing you left off Kell, is that the number of players has risen in the last couple of years. Pat on your back from me coaches.

So basically what you're saying is, if the team wins the credit goes to the players and if the team loses it's the coaches fault. WC fans sit back and think about who you lost through graduation. These guys were all starters and good high school players. QB-Paz RB-Ramsey FB-Perkins OL-Slatton, Ramsey, & Wood Your best special team returner-Bratcher your top 4 WR's.-Cantrell, Creek, Dunn, & Wood Relax,not many teams in the state can overcome those losses. The defense lost average cornerbacks, one defensive end, onetackle. Thats why the defense is good this year they all played some last year. The offense will come around and WC will be in the playoffs again.

That was a good effort Warren Co. Keep working hard. Lincoln Co. you guys are an outstanding team and I look for you guys to make a run deep into the playoffs. This running back thats not playing if you were capable of playing I am sure you would be playing. I have seen 3 backs play that are underclassmen and you must be #4.
