Heard was 9 - 1 in bottom of 7TH

Why do so many people have a problem with teams making "noise". While at McGavock in the late 70's and early 80's we took pride in making "noise". Helps keep the "whole" team in the game whether your playing or not, and if it disrupts the other team, so be it. Tell them to get "mentally" tough. And for those of you who don't like it, get EAR PLUGS.

COACH HUNT CALL ME NEXT TIME YOU ALL NEED A BRACKET, BECAUSE ANY TEAM THAT BENEFITS AS YOURS WHEN LOSING IN ROUND ONE SHOULD BE HAPPY. BOTTOM LINE THIS BRACKET "SMELLS" AND COACH ARE YOU A LITTLE SENSITIVE, MUST BE HEARING THIS ALOT?? AND WHY DOESN'T THE TSSAA "AUTHORIZE" BRACKETS TO BE USED FOR TOURNAMENTS??

IS THERE A PUBLISHED BRACKET FOR THIS TOURNAMENT. HEARD THE BRACKETS WERE CHANGED AFTER ROUND 1???SURE SEEMS LIKE SUMNER COUNTY SCHOOLS (I.E. GALLATIN AND BEECH) BENEFITED AND THE RUTHERFORD COUNTY SCHOOLS GOT SHAFTED. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE GUTS TO ADMIT THEY CAME UP WITH THIS BRACKET? AND WHEN ARE SMYRNA, LaVERGNE, AND WILSON CENTRAL GOING TO BE JOINED WITH BLACKMAN, OAKLAND, RIVERDALE, SIEGAL AND LEBANON IN BASEBALL, LIKE FOOTBALL???

Someone needs to go to "BRACKETOLOGY". That means Smyrna would be playing its 5th game or LaVergne its 6th against the loser of Mt Juliet /Beech (3rd Game). Of corse they would have to get by Gallatin who in essence benefited by losing to Smyrna in Round One. Gallatin received a bye after one win in the loser bracket. So Gallatin will be playing its 3rd game while Smyrna would be playing its 4th if it gets by Lavergne. Would make more sense if LaVergne ewas playing Gallatin. A rule of thumb in "Bracketology" is that a team does not receive a second bye until the remaining teams have hbeen awarded a bye and 2) you do not penalize a team that won in the initial game (i.e. Smyrna). Come on 9 AAA you all have a great district BUT WHO DREW UP THIS BRACKET???

Finals from Saturday Gallatin eliminates Hendersonville Beech 5 LaVergne 2 Mt Juliet 1 Smyrna 0 Mt juliet scores in botom of 1st - Triple, Runner then balked in Monday - Smyrna vs LaVergne Beech vs Mt Juliet Does Gallatin play the loser Beech vs Mt Juliet since the winner of Smyrna/LaVergne have neither had a bye and Beech and Mt Juliet have???

Explain to me why Beech would catch the higher seeded team if things go as seeded. 1 SEED - Beech vs 3 SEED - Hendersonville 2 SEED - Mt Juliet vs 4/5 SEED????? Shouldn't this be reversed?

Do they play double elimination in this district? Also, does the regular season winner get a Region Berth?

And it is a ground rule double. Everyone wants to blame the "umpire" but remember if the player would have caught the ball we aren't discussing this. Man what a game !!
