  1. Do any of you know of an all star game for soccer besides the one that was "Tenn vs. Georgia"? I would like to see one in Knoxville. Hoya, what do you think the chances are of pulling this off?
  2. What teams are in district 10? This should have come out about a month ago.

However good or bad he was, this is not a place for coach bashing. You have said your piece, now move on.
  5. OK boys... time to move on. You have a few more months to get ready for next season.

Yeah, that CAK coach needs some help. I guess you could commute from King everyday for practice!!!

    Is Munro staying on?
  8. Well, while the Memphis final field was immaculate, the other fields left a lot to be desired. It also seemed as if Memphis started off with fireworks and ceremonies the first year, and then totally fizzled the last year. So, I am kind of glad that it is moving to another location. I have never been to Murph. so I can't say that I know anything about it. I do know they are working on a complex, but that doesn't mean a whole lot... Knoxville has a really nice complex (Cellular) that is WAY too small for anything but younger age tourneys. I like the fact that it is closer, since we can get more fans, but far enough away that it feels like you are going somewhere.
  9. Although I am not a huge club team fan, all of the college coaches I have talked to have said that Club is a MUST. This is where you will get the most exposure. While I dissagree that High School soccer is the "off season for club", I do think that unless you get a lot of media coverage with your high school team, most college coaches wait until there is a club tournament so they can see more players at once. I do think that too many "die hard" club teams have done more to harm the sport than to help. So many of guys I have known have been burnt out early because of too many tourneys or too many year round practices. Don't ever lose the love for the game.
  10. Well, even though I asked for it not to start.... Once again, I liked BOTH teams. They BOTH brought us a good game, and I respect BOTH of their teams. Whatever bad blood there is, it will not be solved on here. So, we'll just end this while it is still somewhat positive. Great season to BOTH CCS and Grace. Hope to see you all next year!!!
  11. Well, arguing about it on Coach T wont get you too far, so just relax and enjoy the moment. People will either respect you or not. Usually when you ask for respect it doesn't come your way. Let your play do the talking. Just some advice from an old man. Good job on the championship!
  12. PLEASE don't start that whole Grace vs. CCS thing again. I personally liked both teams.
  13. Not that I have heard of, AlPal. I would agree that CCS was the classiest team we have played.
  14. Don't any of you realize that you are NOT going to convince each other that the other one is wrong? This is just going in a circle, never ending. Both teams, congrats on getting there, and congrats on a power shift to mid Tenn. Hope to see you next season.
  15. OK boys... season is over. You will be able to meet again in a few months and hash it out on the field. This one is just getting a bit ugly. Time to move on.
  16. You really need to get out more.
  17. Coachlogan, you may be a football player on the outside, but you are a true soccer player on the inside!!! We really enjoyed your presence in Memphis. See you at camp this summer!!
  18. SocBlue, we'd love to see you, so stop by anytime!!! About the girls, be careful... most of them are the guy's sisters!!!
  19. Man, it's not even 24 hours, and people are already talking about next year!!! Gotta love it! I'm just going to enjoy the present, and not get lost in a "possible 6" which I agree with Twinkles is a VERY thin limb indeed. A lot of things can happen, so we'll just enjoy the summer, and start worrying about these things in the fall. See you soon, Twinks!
  20. I would like to say for the record that CCS was the classiest team we have played all season. They played a very good game, clean but hard, and were a great bunch of guys. I wish their coach the best in whatever he does. What a great run this season. I am also frankly sick of people busting on other teams. I will close each and every post that feels that it makes them a better man to belittle someone else. Whatever "bad blood" that Grace and CCS has between them, you need to deal with that off line. CCS did what they needed to do, knocking of an extremely talented FRA team to advance to the finals. Grace, you were a TOUGH team. I also wish you the best, and I think you have a great run for next year if you have your guys back.
  21. You can't beat FRA with a weak defense. I think it will be a tight one either way. See you all in 4 hours!!!
  22. This one is done. I suggest you guys get some counselling.
  23. I wouldn't call us the big giant. I think our teams are very similar, and it will be a stupendous game. You are not the underdog in my book. I have respected your team for years. See you all tomorrow.
  24. You guys keep talking about a "draw". It is not a draw. It is set up by region winners/losers, and then sectionals. There is no "unlucky draw".
