Region 8 is one heck of a tough region, and you can put Region 3 right up there with them. Three of the last four state champs, a team has played in the last four state titles, has had the last four Mr. Basketball's, and put two teams in the state tourney last year. Look for District 6 to fall off this year due to a lack of Jon Cook. Coach Salter had the most talent in the state last year, and couldn't get them into the 'Boro. Now that all the talent is gone we'll see what kind of a coach he is. Also look for Temple and Grace to pick up the slack for CCS, and watch for the rising Stars of 21 Century to make some noise.

DKmilk don't even start about McCallie. I went to Grace last last year and when we beat ya'll @ Grace no students from the M came to the game. Going by numbers @ the state tourney, Grace or Bolivar has the best fans. I missed only 2 games so I have a pretty good grasp on this. oh yeah, Trousdale Co. has a great student section, great atmosphere in that old gym...

This is probably the best prediction. Grace and Temple will play five times this year. 2 regular season, district championship, region championship, state championship. Look for Grace to want it more. Still a toss up though. Making my bold statement for the year... Look for a District 5 sweep of District 6 in the Region 3 Tourney. 21st Century has the talent to beat a young and inexperienced Chattanooga Christian. CCS is wishing Jordan King was still around, like Grace was last year...

I don't know about Unaka, but Grace only lost one starter. We lost three other subs, and I was one of them. Should be a very strong team this year, if they can find a on and off the court leader.

I belive hazing, kept within bounds is a wonderful thing. I remeber being told to jump off a chair onto broken glass. I was blindfolded and they promised me I wouldn't get hurt. They pulled the glass underneath the chair so I did not get hurt. It took me about a minute to jump, but I finally did. I did not get hurt, but did learn to trust those guys with my life.

Football practice for the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles started Monday morning @ 7:00. They are fielding a JV team this year.

How will Grace do? Will they beat Temple like they did in the Basketball Disrict Championship, lose like in the Region Championship, or just wind up having a better season? Can Mark Mowrey's coaching skills translate into development in players? Also, will super athlete Roger Bolick play?

Who is mtnman, oh yeah ezmuny, nevermind I don't even wanna know how you make money down at CSAS.

Hey guys now that the season is over and we can post, i think every one sould reveal themself.

The whole public-private splitcould be solved if private schools would stop recruiting. If the private schools stop recruiting so should the public schools, especially the magnent schools... Some schools seem to have a blatant disregard for the rules. My favorite example is Tennessee Temple advertising in the Chattanooga Times Free Press sports section, "Be a part of a winning tradition, come to Tennessee Temple." That is why ih8tntemple (among other reasons!)

This is The Chattanooga Southpaw. Grace people aren't trying to start anything. Grace did start to hack and stuff, but did it in retaliation. No to justify what they did, but... Nuff said about that. Good season guys.
