The call at third was the correct call. Once the ball has made contact with a player it is in play. I've seen the same play happen before and the same call was made. Both teams played well. Too bad it was a first round game. Good luck in rest of tournament

You need to check the offical scoring on the tssaa website. In the 7th inning for tca they had 4 runs on six hits and one error.

Yes I was at the game. No tca parents didn't pack up early. Ivy was the second hitter in the inning so there was only one out.

Where is it you get that Trinity was handed the championship? The girls worked hard for it and earned it on the field. They alson have a young team this year with only two seniors. Every one is picking them to make it back to state but the girls know you still have to win games on the field. They are taking each game one at a time and not taking any team for granted. Anytime you win a championship it makes you a marked team. There are plenty of good teams out there who can win state and the Trinity softball team will try their best to repeat. TCA should win the game but Scotts Hill is a team you can't overlook.

What makes u think that Trinity recruits. A school in a decent size city that only has 130 people in the entire high school does not recruit by any means. I think that u are just upset because you got beat by a team that is much younger than you. If trinity recruited y do u think that it took nearly 10 years for them to get their first winning season. quit talking trash on the internet and talk with you pads on the field. Lake Co. u have improved a lot since week 0 but just admit that u got out played just like spellerone said. The best teams don't say anything at all and just git-r-done on friday night. By the way I gurantee if you played trinity again it would not be a 30-40 point difference and there is no way that Springer would throw for many yards at all against them.

I do not see how FACS or TRA lost to Byrne. Both have appeared better to me that Byrne is. I have watched film off both teams playing Byrne and they both looked to have had the upper hand the whole game. I also saw when watching film how much atheletic ability that Byrnes quarterback had. This weekends showdown between FACS and TRA should be a great, close game but if sources are correct about the injuries FACS has acquired I see TRA pulling the game out by less than a touchdown. I play for Trinity and we did stop the long passes but that is not all that is in a game, we gave up to many short passes that turned into many YAC. Hanks, you are the best quarterback I have seen, you hurt us running ball also and took the team on your shoulders although ya'll were down 21-7, u got them back in the game and tied it in the closing seconds of the regulation. Giving up 246 passing yards is not shutting anyone down, I am the one who blocked the extra point and it had nothing to do with luck, when a person comes off the edge untouched and fast enough that it hits him in the face mask that is not luck. Anyways I don't wanna brag about it becuase it was an awesome football game, good luck to u guys at rosemark the rest of the season and in playoffs.

There is no way that TRA can beat Trinity by 14, they pass almost every down of the game and Trinity's secondary is pretty good, they held Ryan Ross to 110 yards passing and picked him off twice. teams playing trinity are averaging a slim 60 yards against them passing. Probably be a good game but low scoring and look for there to be several interceptions thrown by both teams.

Lake Co. by a lot, they have not been given a whole lot of respect this year but they have come a very very long way since last year and will prove it tonight.

This is in response to what buschman said in his rankings as of WEEK 1! You must not get out much, Trinity and fayette are down this year because they both lost a bunch of seniors , true they are not having the greatest of seasons but fayette only having 2 or 3 seniors on their entire team have a promising furture. they may not have the year everyone expected out of them this year but next year they will be a very tough competitor. Trinity only has 130 kids in their entire highschool and that is the smallest high school in the state. Everyone talks about how bad they are when they have half the guys in the entire high school playing and still only dress around 30, they also have only 4 seniors(including the kicker) after graduating 13 last year with me being one of them, this is what made me think your crazy, you said that they will not be close to the same level of USJ for a few years. Well get ready because trinity is a very young team loaded with talent that will win lots of ball game's next year.

Hunter Johnson of Trinity is 6'4" 340 lbs., have'nt seen many block him succesfully , started on high school team as an 8th grader

JCM's stadium does have the best nickname i think an dthe atmosphere is awesome

I am not a player on the TCA football team and i agreed with acmoney until I saw the scrimmage, they have come a long way and have had some freshmen step up big and they have much needed depth(unlike last year) they may have lostr many good players but they have developed a lot and when they get their offense going they will be a good team.

USJ is an improved team since the regular season and have good young talent. Westview has a great offensive attack and a very stable defense. This game should be a great one and I will be there to watch it. Anyone have any predictions about this game?

West Tennessee teams obviously. You haven't seen any teams form west tennessee play probably so you can't say that martin is not a good team. I'm gonna laugh when you play one of these teams you think your team can handle easily and get beat!

O yea, by the way, hurt is one of the fastest forwards that I have played against. He is a very well balanced forward and they have a good offensive attack. Martin is without a doubt one of the best teams I have seen thus far.
