    District 9A

I saw catcher from MTCS throw that ball at Parker first. He jus picked it up and tossed it over the fence.
  2. If Tipps does not get the job will he get those players from Central American to come to Huntland?
  3. Why would he get the nod over Tipps and Adcox? Both have been in 11A longer and have gotten players from Winchester and Lewisburg as well. Also, is there any truth to Tipps having a connection in the Dominican Republic and gettting Foreign exchange students from there in the near future?
  4. Other names mentioned are Huntland's Michael Tipps and Cornersville's Brent Adcox.
  5. Warren County can compete. Need pitching and leadership from SR's to step up!
  6. "pound for pound" Atnip is as solid as they come. I think Ricky Coleman from USN may however be teh best JR around.
  7. Mullins, Cascade, the SR threw out the game tieing run at ther plate to end the Sectional Game last year vs. Summertown to send the Champions to their first ever state tourney. Also can drag and push with the best of them.
  8. In CLASS A, Look for Lookout Valley, Summertown and Jackson Christian. All return lots and have a great team taking the field for them this season.
  9. How many girls basketball players have transferred to shelbyville to play? HUH??? What about the 2006 baseball team, how many transfers did they have? HUH???
  10. Really does not matter year or complaint, they should be in there own league and would if not for politics. It is not fair ground, especially for smaller schools, A and AA.
  11. That is a great point. The boys will get to do both, the game is at Summertown at 100 PM
  12. They should, it is a TSSAA rule.. Cascade will play Summertown at 100 PM, NCS vs. Richland at 600.
  13. Seniors, Juniors, Sophmores, etc. The kids from Cascade many games in the spring and summer.
  14. Corey Mullins Cascade
  15. Yes, routine, for the LFer, but no ordinary effort by the SS. The LFer should have called MoMo off and caught the ball, but it did not happen that way. Just another crazy play in a wild and crazy game.
  16. The champion from 9A and the runner up face the runner up and the champion from 10A. 10A teams left: Nashville Christian vs. McEwen, winners bracket final at 500 East Robertson vs. Clarksville Academy, loser bracket semi at 730 Both games are at Houston Co. HS today. The winners from the Region semis advance to the Region Finals, the losers are eliminated. the winner of the region plays at home in the sub state, the loser travels, the winners of the sub state go to the state tourney aka Spring Fling. Good luck to everyone in 9A!!! There have been some great games so far, and I am sure more to come!
  17. Your three year old must be a future major leaguer then, Cascade SS and the LFer were going for the ball in LEFT FIELD, not the IF.
  18. What is tourney schedule today? Tomarrow?
  19. 2005 Joseph Floyd and Chris Graham signed with Motlow State 2006 All three SR's signed Jeffrey Comstock, Lee Univeristy Nick Davis, Bryan College JR Thomes, Motlow State Coach Parker also had eight SR's sign off his Mudcat team, many had been playing for him four years.
  20. Any team that wins 24 games has a deeper pitching staff and a more rounded team than one with just two players.
  21. yes, how could we forget, Mullins, both him and Bain can drop 'em down.
  22. I think we all need to let it rest and play the rest of the season out. MTCS and Cascade both have tough games remaining. One can talk about a rematch if and when there is one. Let's move on: MTCS vs. Forest and Cascade vs. Boyd.
  23. All good points. I feel it is easier to hit in the daylight instead of at night, thus putting some teams without lights at a disadvantage when playing on the road.
  24. Cascade still has a tough schedule ahead! District games with Boyd and Eagleville, Non-District vs. Moore Co, PJP II, and the Workaman Classic in Clarksville.
