Clarksville did get blown out by Franklin but they also beat Dickson Co last week. I'm not sure what to make of that team and how they will stack up against Centennial. Clarksville has a good QB in Wesley Fink and how he stacks up against Centennial's athletic secondary will be the key to the game. Centennial and Ravenwood are both going to win out while Dickson Co. will continue their slide and lose their last two. I never would have guessed a Dickson Co. team would finish below .500 but it certainly looks that way. That would leave Brentwood, Franklin, Centennial, and Ravenwood in the playoffs. Ravenwood is the real deal and I wouldn't be suprised if they give a 5-5A team fits.

All that means is that the writers for the AP poll will feel a little stupid when unranked Centennial beats #5 Franklin and #6 Brentwood.

I agree with everything faninthestand just said. We all seem to get pretty hype when the polls come out but all that matters is the score on Friday night. If Franklin wins every single game by one point they will still be undefeated.

Brentwood 3-0 All teams won handily except for Smyrna and Gallatin who played each other and Smyrna won by five points. As for the Centennial-Brentwood game, I'll take the Bruins by 8.

First off, BDD needs to calm down before he has an anxiety attack. Secondly, you were wrong about Centennial losing to Ravenwood but nice guess anyway. Finally, Franklin is underated but they did seem to have their hand full with Henry County. Not quite the 28 point victory you predicted is it?

I hate to say it but topdawg is right. Last year was a fluke that Centennial won and the undefeated Firebirds are going to come into the Cougars house and embarrass them. And this time Phillip Bates won't be around to save them.

Hendersonville is much, much better than their records indicates. They have played two very good teams, very tough. Dickson County on the other hand beat Kenwood by only 8. Im not sure if that is a sign of how far Dickson Co has fallen or how far the Knights have come in one year. Either way a win is a win and a loss is a loss but, look for a great game from these two teams.

I'm just an average fan but Centennial didn't look real suprised when they jumped out to a 17 point lead. Ravenwood is still a year from beating teams like Centennial, Franklin, and Brentwood.

Smyrna (can't give up 55 first half points to anybody- even Riverdale)

One dimensional or not a win is a win and Centennial has one while BGA does not. Also, take note that when Centennial did pass -without their starting QB- they were two for two with major chunks of yardage. Centennial might or might not beat Franklin but they will make the playoffs.

Who are the linebackers for Centennial? Number 33 didn't have a great game last night but he is a ball player. Anybody know his name?

I don't know much about Steele. Is he really a D-1 prospect?

BA had a heck of a game but I am still impressed by Centennial. Had the Cougars not lost their QB for the second half those two interceptions and subsequent 10 points might not have happened. BA is likely to overtake MBA this year and I wouldn't be suprised if Centennial doesn't make it into the 3rd or 4th round of the playoffs.

Centennial got beat by Columbia Central and was absolutely whooped by Northwest. What makes you guys think they can last against a team like Brentwood Academy?
