paradox, I agree your son is a good athlete and a big part of the team and will be missed Thursday night. There are other tough players on the team too. I just gave two examples but if you or anybody that has watched this team has not seen some of the best and most talented not play too their potential their blind. They have great talent and I don't want to name names but there are some on the team that have not played a full game without some type of injury. Have you seen Smith or Ward out a single play all year?

I hate to say it, I am a bulldog fan, but they do not have any mental or physical toughness. Laying around whinning and missing games. Cloudland will win this one. Probably 30 to 20. I am so disgusted with playing 2 or 3 quarters and laying down. I don't think I will attend. As someone said earlier this year, if they would take off their panties and put on a jock strap they could be real good. But I don't believe its in the cards. Too bad. There are exceptions to the toughness, Ward and Smith are the definition of toughness.

Uknoit2, I don't believe you know much. They have applications for coach if you would like to try. I saw the dogs whip Johnson County and thought they were really doing good and improving greatly. Then they play Hancock County and the same bunch is hurt again. They'll have a hard time with Cloudland. I hope they can win. I still say if they all played with toughness like a few of them do, they could win 2 or 3 playoff games. Without it one and done.

First thing Old Eagle, I think most schools, if not all have Jimmys and Joes. I think Cosby has the largest enrollment in the region. However, I don't think that any of the coaches including you can demand the discipline that we use to have. I know you give it your all and I appreciate that even if you are not at the school that I am for. Four players walked off and quit at Hampton this week. Others missed practice, completely unacceptable. If it were at Trousdale you would be off the team. I'm sure there are lots of kids walking the halls that you would like to have on your team. Cosby has good fan support and it is a tough place to play. Good luck to you and yours.

I don't think you read your own post. You start out its all about Jimmy and Joe and having the horses. There must not be many at Cosby. I have not said anything about Cosby until you started crying about kicking a super ball and I don't care what you think.

Yeah, Mr. Lunsford has always had exceptional talent. When he was at Cloudland, they normally had about 200 students in the school and every season but one was a winning season. They played 2A several years, had some local much bigger schools, such as Happy Valley and South Green that refused to play them. Since he has been at Hampton, they have not had a losing season. I wonder what division 1 college all these kids are playing at now, since they are so talented. He has good kids and talented kids. Most of them play their heart out for the team and for him. Name any other local coach that has even close to the same record. By the way, Lunsford's Cloudland team beat Hampton 10 times in a row before he left there, and now Cloudland has lost to Hampton 6 straight years. However, that could change this year. I have watched both teams. Cloudland has lots of pride and toughness.

I think this will be a very tough test for the dogs. Hope the big dogs don't stay on the porch. Could be a chance to show that you are a very good team, or not so good. Play with heart and pride and I think you will be okay. If everyone would play as hard as Mr. Smith, I think you would have an outstanding team. I have never met him, but he sure gives it his all. He is not the only one. I wish he weighed 190 lbs. instead of 140. Come on dogs, strap it up and hit.

Hampton has some problems with dedication and toughness. They also have some boys that are just like nails. They have one 140 pounder that has led them in tackles for 3 year. He ran the ball 27 times against Cosby. I have not seen him laying on the field cramping yet. That is pretty much a choice. If you hydrate yourself and take the correct amount of sodium you don't cramp. If you look around, the ones laying on the ground are the same ones everytime. The guys that lead in tackles every game never lay down unless its serious. Football is a tough sport, but not everyone that plays it is tough. I am a Hampton fan, but they better toughen up. One of the best things I've seen at Hampton is years is their kicking. I think Eddie maybe and probably should be, Mr. Football Kicker of the year. He has kicked 48, 46, and 36 yd. field goals that I know of and probably will kick a lot more. Thank you Carlos.

I think you are wrong king. I think Avery is far superior to West Green. Cloudland needs to get in the power I and try their best to control the clock. I would like to see them win but I can't see it. I see Avery 40 or 50 to 14, if they are merciful.

I have not heard anybody say anything bad about Cosby and everybody says Herzog awesome. But, you did start whinning about the ball they kicked. If its in the rules and you don't use it, sounds to me like you got out coached, period.

I think old eagle should have a car wash & a bake sale and buy his team one of those balls that kicks so well. If you score more points you win the game.

I wish you would change your name to old cry baby if cosby were in the playoffs you would not have to stay home and play with the packers.

I probably will ruffle a few feathers here. First of all we were predicted to come in 3rd in our district, behind Cosby and Cloudland. But we won a few more than everybody thought we would. Hampton was also predicted to lose both games to Johnson Co. and to Happy Valley. I think Hampton has had a very good season with a new coach, however I also saw some very disturbing things at the Hampton vs Cloudland game that made me question some of Hampton's players heart. Players that I thought there was absolutely no question about their heart. We do have very good coaching and they will make changes if necessary, it's just a hard time in the season to start trying something new. I appeal to the bulldogs, come out and play like bulldogs. Hit like bulldogs, leave it all on the field. I'll be there watching as will many bulldogs fans. I would like to thank Carlos for the kicking coaching that he has done. My prediction is Hampton 36 TP 20 PS Shocker your a joke

Way to go dogs. Happy Valley has a fine team. Hampton's kicking team has improved greatly. Somebody should nominate their kicking coach for coach of the year. Thank you Carlo's for volunteering your time and expertise. Now to next week, Hampton will be heavily favored, but their playing a rivalry game. I think Cloudland is much better than their record. Hampton will win but it will be a tough game. Score 36 to 21.

I didn't think that oldeagle would respond. It's hard to argue with the truth, but I've got plenty more ammo if he takes a notion. As far as Unaka, I hear they have a very good qb. They will need it. He made one mistake saying that Hampton would not sack him. I will be there to see.

One more thing, # 17 Edwards is gonna be a real player at Hampton. He has more potential than all most anyone in the conference. If Unaka has any more they want to send up here we will be glad to have them. Matter of fact, we'll takem from anywhere. If they can play we'll put them on the field. Come on down boys.

I have tried very hard not to be rude, but I'm gonna tell it like it is. According to the TSSAA Cosby has 483 students, Hampton has 437, Cloudland about 250. If Cosby can only get a 130 lb. lineman out of this many students, maybe they should be in the halls talking to the students instead of talking on this board. Hampton's line averages about 270. I guess they are hard to hold. Maybe its easy to hold those little 130 pounders. As far as the pooch kick, I never had a problem with Cosby doing it, I had a problem with Hampton fielding it. I don't think we will have that problem in the future. We love a short field. Please do it that way every time. By the way, how many playoff games have you won? 0 I don't see any other coaches on this board. Just a few over zealous fans like me and some players, but not coaches. Most coaches want even read it and you want to know what were smoking. Look in the mirror. See you next year. Hope your lineman are 130 lbs. again.

I believe Hampton is going to play Unaka Fri. but I wish it was Cosby so we could listen to their coaches cry for weeks that Hampton holds and chopblocks their little 100 lb. boys.

Hampton owes Unaka a little something for the baseball last year. I think they really want to pay it. I also think that # 17 will have a big game. He's getting tougher. He has a lot of potential. Can't wait til Friday.

Cosby allways has the best player and the best coach but there record dont show it look at Taylor or Price even Edwards a sophmore

Herzog is a wide receiver converted to QB. He is a real athlete. Probably the best in our region. Get real QUEEN you have not even seen him play.Herzog is average. Cosby has 1 win this year wake up
