This ranking is not very reliable. Grace plays a lot of AA and AAA teams, but because the district teams are so bad it pulls their strength of schedule down. Memphis is a good example with C-USA this year. They are in the top 5, but strength of schedule is not so great because of the confrence. I am not saying Grace or Temple's should be higher, but you have to take those things into consideration and I am sure the coach-t computer does not. Just a thought.

When did you guys come to our gym? Was this during Christmas break or something? If so that is why you had more fans, but I don't remember you coming to our gym.

You know Grace recruited Brendan Murphy to play baseball. As soon as we saw him on the playground we knew we had to get him to come to Grace after pre-school. I think the same is said of Dilts, Smith, and Van Horn.

You are asking a question that most people on here are not going to be able to answer. If you want to know why our basketball players may or may not cheer against you then just ask them. They are nice guys just like your players are. They are the source for the answer you are seeking. As far as the college goes, the only college students that I noticed that really expressed dislike towards grace were former Temple high school students. I sat next to a bunch of the college students at one of the games and I noticed they were cheering anytime there was a good play. I can't wait to the game. Both teams have a great chance of winning state. Both teams also have an oppertunity to show thier Christ likeness to a bunch of people as everyone countinues to talk about both teams. I hope both teams take advantage of all this attention and use it to show how Christians should act. Even at sporting events!!! Good luck to both teams!

Grace and Temple have to be the best

You must know very little about this game. Grace just beat them on the same court. Grace always brings more fans. So this game being moved from Grace to Temple College does not mean now Temple has advantage. It will be a great game.

I agree with everything, but I think CSAS will be on top with South Pitt 2nd. this is a interesting district.

I saw on Temple's shedule the Times Free Prees Tournament. Who is in it? The comments made about defense winning championships is true. You ask any college or NBA coach and they will tell you the same. That is not to say offense is not important. Look no farther than the Pistons and Spurs. They win because of defense. Look at the Mavs, all the offense in the past and all Mark Cuban has gone out looking for was defense because he found out you can lead the NBA in scoring every year but get put out in the first two rounds because no defense.

Do you know why he resigned his football position? He was my coach years ago and was just wondering.

I know choosing the finalist is hard when you look across the state, but how could both be left off the list. I am not a Temple fan, but I saw what these kid did this year and am shocked. I think Antonio Robinson is one of the best WR in the state, but Seth was just as impressive and even had much better stats. I know that South Pitt is primarly a running team so that is some of the reason his stats are lower. The thing is a Mr. Football award can not be based on what a person would do if he was in another style of offense. Seth even had great games against the better teams they played so the weaker opponent argument isn't really that valid since they played in the same region. I heard Seth even did good against Trousdale County. Just putting it out there for us to talk about. Good Luck South Pitt Tonight!

I can assure you that the Grace is not talking trash. They respect the accomplishments of Temple's team. Besides, why would a first year program talk trash about anybody who has had a team longer than they have. There are too many people trying to get something started instead of just letting the game do the talking for both teams. What year did you graduate Gradfrom the nest?

It will be a good game Saturday. Both teams are up and coming. The other good thing about the two teams is they are both very classy teams. They show good sportsmanship on and off the field. I can't wait to see the game. #1 and #2 in the state in Basketball this year. Maybe this year Temple will get to the Championship game with Grace.

There is no way Whitwell is top 10 material. Anybody 11 and down would beat Whitwell.

Thank you! I am so tired of everybody making excuses. I went to public school and made the same excuses. Then I started working at a private school and relized that most of our kids have been here from not just middle school, but elementary. This helped me realize that the private schools were not much different than the public schools. Sometimes we criple our kids by giving them excuses.

Whitwell? What was 59-0 Boyd over Whitwell. They are not undefeated. Walker Valley also lost to Boyd.

When I played for Ooltewah we played them my Junior and Senior year. We were a good team my senior year and lost close games to both schools. They were good games and a chance to get back at all those who left Ooltewah. The games would be good, but if they don't want to play them, that's fine. I like watching Central and Red Bank get beat by Ooltewah.

If you are going say it happened then give out names to support your claim.

What is your point? Are you trying to say that the private schools are recruiting or that the public schools are not meeting these students needs so they are leaving and going to private schools. I can't speak about all the players you listed but, I have heard people accuse Grace for recruiting Brenden Murphy, but that is dumb. He went to Grace all his life. I guess pre-k is a good time to see how good a person is in sports and start trying to get them to go to your school.
