I live in Maryville, my son plays for CAK. Over the past eight years we have been to many games in Knox and Blount Counties and I have never paid to park.

Pay to park at a high school football game???? Are you kidding me? What do you get for the parking fee?

Seymour had a couple of Middle School kids and a Freshman at the MS/Fresh/JV Regionals on Saturday.

C.A.K. had three eighth graders at this Tournament, one finished in third and the other two finished fourth. The wrestler at 189 was not able to compete for third place due to wrestling his 5th match for the day.

Here's one for wrestling in your community. We live in Friendsville, my son goes to CAK, Wm. Blount has a Team but he no longer goes to school there. Who do we wrestle for?

Weigh ins started at 8:00, wrestling started at 12:05.

We attended the Tournament last weekend, my understnading was the seeding was based on this year's record.

What guidelines will be used for seeding the wrestlers? Will a first place finish in your tournament last week guarantee a #1 seed?

Please consider this when talking about Alcoa and Maryville, they accept tuition students. I am sure the argument will be made that only a small percentage of their football players are tuition students. Do other Public Schools accept tuition athletes, oops sorry students.

My son plays on the Middle School team and we are both sad that he will miss the opportunity of being coached by Coach Young.

CAK has a talented group of 9th graders, the Team was 10 and 1 last year with a Championship.

Two years ago Murphy was at the Hastings in Maryville signing his books and talking to anyone that wanted to talk football.
