  1. Does anyone else have a game scheduled for Halloween night that has not been changed to the 30th. I just think the logical thing to do this night is reschedule the games for the 30th.
  2. Don't count Seymour out. They only lost 2 Seniors and have pretty much a full team returning. If they can get their emothions in check they will be back in the running this year.
  3. 1) Seymour 2) Greenback 3) William Blount 4) Maryville 5) Knox Halls 6) Pigeon Forge 7) Karns 8) Farragut Seymour was stricken with the flu last year toward the end of the season (at dual state) but has a plan in place this year to keep that from happening. Look at past records and compare the wins and losses between seyour and Greenback and see what the numbers tell. Greenback has yet to beat seymour in a dual match for region.
  4. It takes more than one person to win a title!!!!
  5. Way to go Seymour. Seymour beats Sevier County and Pigeon Forge to win County. Just wanted to congratulate all of the boys on another County win. Now it's time to focus on Dual State and bring home a state title. Good Luck boys and keep working hard the community is behind you and pulling for you to bring it home this year. With a third place win 2 years ago and a second place win last year the only thing to do this year is bring home a 1st place title.
  6. Shane the Seymour Community will keep you in our prayers. My son wrestled you several times last year and you are a strong athlete. This will not keep you down!!!!
  7. I wouldn't count out the Heavy Weight for Seymour. He is a light Heavy Weight and only a Junior this year but he finished 2nd at the KCHS tournament this past weekend.
  8. I would agree Reveiz is also and outstanding wrestler and all of the matches between him and Frankie have been very close in points. I'm not counting Reveiz out by any means and I think either one of them would be a great state champion. I just know a little more about Frankie. The 215 weight class is stacked this year and I really do believe it could be taken by anyone at state. I would love to see either one of them bring a state championship home because it would be well deserved and earned. So good Luck to the both of them.
  9. I would like to say Good Luck to Frankie Morgan at state. I think you represent not only a great wrestler but you also are an outstanding young man. Good luck to you and the Seymour family will be pulling for you.
  10. Does anyone know if Stuff from Gibbs took 3rd at 215 or was it the Kingston boy that took 3rd?
  11. I wondered if anyone from the ND team can tell me what grade the 215 that wrested in the state dual against Seymour is in?
  12. Yes, fortunately they are all sophmores and their time is coming. They are already talking about working toward next year so they are all in good spirits about the whole thing. They are also very happy for the 6 that did make it to state from the Seymour team and plan to be pulling for them this week.
  13. Maybe not but he could have won a couple of matches in between the finals that would have put Seymour on top in points as a team. Also he has never wrestled the boy from Gibbs so who knows what would have happened in the end. Sounds like you know alot about the 215 weight bracket, so you must know he has only lost to seniors this year and he is only a sophmore with a record of 40 wins and 11 loses.
  14. He had the flu all last week and was to weak to compete. He tried to wrestle Friday night and just couldn't do it. So he gracefully bowed out for the rest of the tournament on Saturday.
  15. 3 of Seymours wrestlers were stricken with the flu last week and were unable to wrestle Saturday. Tyler McCroskey tried to wrestle Friday night but was just too week as well as Chris Beard too. We were out Floyd Larson, Tyler McCrosky and Chris Beard and I believe each of them had a good chance in placing at Regionals. Congratulations to Greenback and Good luck to the Seymour guys that did make it to state.
