  1. Dca won by a score of 42-7. Gallagher was a houdini tonight for Cascade in how he escaped the pass rush again and again, and managed to complete passes or make big runs. Fortunately for DCA, he was able to do it enough on only one drive. It was 28-7 at the half. DCA dominated the LOS and managed a couple of interception after Gallagher's luck ran out in the second half. The big play of the first half was on DCA's first play of their first possession from DCA's 1 yard line after a good punt was downed there by Cascade. Jim Fenwick threw a perfect pass about 50 yards downfield to a DCA receiver who took it the rest of the way for a score. I will post the stats from the Tennessean later when they are available and we will find out who the receiver was.
  2. Well this thread has been brought back to life by a jealous Mt Juliet student showing his bias against DCA. Why don't you give it a rest. Link to Tennessean article on 10/21 about the DCA - CPA game
  3. If you look at bigcountryhick06's posts, you will find out that he is probably a Mt. Juliet Bears supporter and possibly a 11th grader (Jr just sounds too mature for him) based on him using the 06. Now why is he so concerned about who DCA plays is anybodys guess, but a large percentage of DCA's students do come from Mt Juliet and Wilson County, so I would guess that he knows a few people at DCA. So 06, is this a "someone did me wrong" kind of dislike?

  6. Good article at the NashvilleCityPaper
  7. Tennessean boxscore Playing in a driving rainstorm, Ezell had zero first downs and 2 net yards rushing, while Ryan Fields of DCA rushed for 205 yards and 3TDs. Athough the score is not indicative of it, but #11 at MLB for Ezell had a good game, especially early until DCA adjusted.

    DCA over JCS

All I know is the score. My teen-aged daughter called from the Baskin-Robbins in Jackson and gave me the score. When I asked how was the game, she said "Good", and that is about all I could expect. To her, it is a social event. I know that Mark is being recruited heavily, does he have any favorites?
  15. Here is a link to a good recap at the Tennessean website (can't believe I put Good and Tennessean in the same sentence). edit : scroll up to see the whole article. I was really impressed by the defensive line play of East Robertson. Very strong and quick, at times they really dominated DCA's offensive line.
