He took a hit straight on with his face while going out of bounds. He got a mild concussion. They took him to the cookeville hospital that night. He has been at practice this week, but not practicing. The doctor told him he could play if he wants to, but don't count on it. The last game of the season why take a chance on getting hurt anymore.

Tony Boles at Red Boiling Springs??? Don't laugh, but think about it. This coach has come into a program that was sinking fast. He is fighting a basketball coach for players(and not winning), he has one coach that teaches across county and he doesn't get there until late into practice, another coach that was on the ex-coach's staff and never did anything and he is also trying to coach the jr high team. Yes, he has only 17 players on the team, but some of these boys haven't played in two or three years, they are there everyday working to get better. So some of you people, coaches,or players who are always cutting down/making fun Red Boiling Springs step back and think for a second would you put yourself through what this coach and his players are going through----I DON'T THINK SO. That is why I think he coach of the year material.

Bulldog23 seen you working with that monster size middle school team for monroe county last week. Your team look much bigger then the varsity, I feel sorry for anyone playing you this year. Good luck this year maybe if you have time you could back to the hill and see the new improve dogs.

The rbs stands for Red Boiling Springs . They may name a new this week, it needs be be done now so everyone in the program can move forward in a postive manner and forget about the past.

I know that they have started the interviewing stage, but haven't heard anything new. Has anyone else heard anything yet??

ELA I think the three non-region game for next year will be Lighthouse Christian, Taft, and Zion Christian. These are games that the new coach can win IF all the boys that have play jr high football the last 4 years come back to the program NOW that there is going to be a change. There is also a very good chance for 2 to 3 regional victories. It all depends on the boys returning to the Football program, sticking with it by following the team and school rules. Being at practice everyday and working hard on the field and in the weight room.

muffin since you are from celina and you don't know the problems in the RBS varsity football program, DON'T! come down on Mr. Prock for making the RIGHT decision on firing mr.cadle as head coach. If you saw the day-to-day goings on in the varsity program you would understand why this had to be done now. You really don't have any reason to judge Mr. Prock on anything that he does reguarding the Macon County schools and athletic programs.

Just wondering if a Head Coach knowns that he is going to get fired. Would it be better to save face an just resign the position as Head Coach, so the program can progress??? What does everyone else think about this?

All that Trousdale Co. needs to remember is-----What Macon County Jr High did to Trousdale's jr High team. So maybe the same thing can happen to the High School team??

Macon county plays Thursday night against Upperman. Red Boiling Springs plays Friday night against Jo Bryns(someone they think they can beat) :confused:

final 37 - 0 is the final score ! Metcalfe call off the dogs after the 3rd quarter or it would have worse than it was. Bulldogs are very weak. don't what you where watching tnballman but #21 for Metcalfe was the only one that look like He was a little less for wear, but that was because of the hit he put on the dog runner. The dogs could not get anything going the whole game. This going to be a very long season for the dogs, if they don't beat Lighthouse next week look for a 0 - 9 season (could be 0 - 10 cause they play jr. varsity game against Pickett Co.), but you can only hope for better. :confused: [Edited by Blitz1 on 8-25-02 4:29P]
