I agree 100%. I will be at that meeting tonight and will report what was said and done. The School Board Director met with the players yesterday concerning the petition. That is fact. Coach Mac said he has taught his player never to quit and he will not quit fighting. That is a fact. The meeting tonight holds the truth to all (I hope) and anyone who has anything to do with Marshall County Football should come out, player, fan, supporter, teacher, well you get the picture.

I tried to post this yesterday but it was deleted. The Marshall County School board will have a "work session" tonight at 5:30 to disscus among other things MCHS Football and Coach Mac McCurry. The public is invited to attend. I understand the topics getting closed on this but you have to let it come out one way or another. Touchy subject be I think Details should be allowed on here when they come into light. Thank you

6 1a should not have 10 teams in it. No region should if others have 5 or 6. Also Eagleville should stay with Forrest, Cornersville, Mt Plesant, C.A. and Cascade. With Collingwood, wayne County, Huntland, Moore County. place Zion Where ever. Or if you have that many teams do a SEC east and West thing. Just my 2 cents. Tidwell

What a game at Talon Field last night. 29-28 WC pulls it off in overtime. wc up 14-7 at the half and the finish the 4th tied at 21. Late touchdown by the eagles. The went for 1 and went to overtime. Eagleville gets the ball first and scored on 4th down and kicked, WC scored on their first play at went for two. Great game by all. Nutt did a pretty good job at QB but they brought Ruddle in a few times. You could tell he wasn't 100%. He fumbled one of the snaps and could really move. Eagle played one of their best games this year. Congrats to WC for the win but Eagleville can hold their heads high. The big question out of this game is Ruddle. He looked slow and as I said couldn't really move. Nutt and Hamock ran all over the field. Lamb, George and #21 (poetee?) did a great job. Next week Eagleville heads to Cascade good luck Guys!!! Great game but I wouldn't say they are not playoff material. The region is tough this year. Mt. Plesant and Wayne County are top two in my book (that I reserve the right to change week to week) and the pther two spots is anyones. Haven't seen Collinwood yet but their always tough. Colby George is one of the best DB'S in the region. Lamb had a great game as well as Lins and Pugh. Looking forward to Forrest next week as WAXO TV will be their again and bring your radios and tune to 100.9 for the statium radio. Tidwell

Eagleville will have a true test friday agianst Moore Co. They had a great game with Jo Byrns but you never know what you'll get with Moore County. If Moore County brings it's A game it should be good. Moore County has a way of letting some slip away. Also Talon Field is a great home feild advantage. The Eagleville Eagles get their first win starting the season off great with a 14 to 12 victory over Jo Byrns at Talon Field last night. Brandon Lamb looked very good at the QB spot with one 22 yds pass and no INT's. Michael with 17 carries for 69 yds and 1 td, and Chris Pugh had 18 carries for 82 yds and a TD. Colby George played a great game at safty with i pick and a tip in which Brandon Lamb got the int. The QB for the Red Devils Clay Head is great.
