Chambers didn't give us no win. We showed heart and came back and won the game. At least I don't say Craig cooke give you all the win in the district tournament. As for ole Krich, he was a good one, but look what Cloudland has done to Unaka for the last 23 years, hehe

North Greene gets no love because they don't produce wins. When was the last time they had a winning season. Face it: their program is downtrodden. Its always been downtrodden and it always will be downtrodden.

I believe he is talking about Coach Turbyfill. He played with me back in the early nineties and was an all-state quarterback and Mr. Football finalist. Turbyfill knows football and the future at cloudland looks great. By the way, it doesn't take much to shut Unaka down!

I said a bunch of nice things about Unaka this past week and no one responded. Thats the point I'm trying to make. You people only respond to the bad posts, because deep down inside you like to have that chip on your shoulder. Just like the Fritz article, you all completely ignored the good things he said about your program, and attacked him for just telling the truth and the game proved it all out. That being said, we all should move on because it is so over!

We have beat you at Sonny Smith gym for three straight years, so we can talk a little trash in basketball. As for baseball, no one from Unaka or Cloudland will be playing for the Yankees, so no need to brag there. Stick with golf, tiger

Taking Unaka to the woodshed made me prouder than going to state in 2001. I've never seen a better display of teamwork than the last 2 games. Whatever happens in the playoffs, I will never question the character of this team again.

The officiating had nothing to do with the outcome of this game. Even coach Ensor admitted that. This game is over and Cloudland has established their dominance in football. The best thing to do is move on and quit making excuses.

Appalachia is a Virginia school with a 3-5 record, but they've played top ranked Gate City, VA and Powell Valley, VA who upset Gate City, Friday night. They also lost by 6 pts. to division leader, Rye Cove. Very tough, hard nosed team who is rebuilding after winning 6 state championships in class A Virginia this past decade. They were a much better fundamental team than Unaka, and this test will go a long way in making the Landers better for the playoffs. I would like to say Coach Keith has done an incredible job in turning this season around. I was one of the doubters and I apologize for the negative reactions early in the year. This team looks totally different from the one that played Hampton opening week. The ambition of Keith and the players along with a never give up attitude has turned the Landers into winners. I didn't think it would happen this year, but they stepped up to the plate. Good job!

Thats why she reminds me of Weems, because she is on another level than her teammates. I remember one time when North Greene beat Cloudland, Weems outscored the whole Cloudland team scoring 42 pts. But you are right, if the guards can't get her the ball, it don't matter how good she is.

Both the Cherokees and Indians will be eliminated by then. It will be Cloudland and Midway in the 3rd round. Bank on it.

Why has Coalfield fell apart? They have one of the best coaching staffs around. After Cloudland, I pull for Coalfield, because they earned my respect in the early nineties. I can't understand what has happened!

You seemed to care a whole lot before the game. The football board had more Unaka posters than Cloudland til after the game. Its not that people don't care; they are just embarrassed. All I was doing was inviting you back to the football board because the season isn't over yet. You should support the Rangers til the season is over and not give up and come to the basketball boards.

Region 2 better buckle their chinstraps when they come to Roan Mt. I remember a team that said "where's Cloudland" about 3 years ago and they took a pretty good spanking!

To Unaka posters: You guys didn't have to leave the football boards! Eventhough basketball is your bread and butter, you guys are still 7-1. And the one loss came from one of the greatest traditions in East Tennessee. Come back and post on the football boards. Its still a little early to brag about basketball! P.S. True, Calvin Cline. But those games were neck in neck. In other words, competitive. Unlike the cloudland/Unaka football game!

yeah, you've already proven you can't play a mans sport. At least Cloudland has and can beat Unaka in basketball, something you can't do in football.
