  1. Has this past already or are they in there spring drills? If so, when and who will they scrimmage?
  2. Please explain why this forum is not the place to discuss it. This is why most are on here and what this board is about. I really get tired of hearing that the truth is somehow bad for this board. With that said, make sure it is the truth.
  3. Sugarcane, Wonder where it is going? Just ask Doc he will tell you. Doc has the controls.
  4. Big Daddy, I didn't mean to make him sound like he not a good man. I just believe he has a tendency to jump the gun and pull the plug on things without really looking at the whole. Sorry to offend, if I did.
  5. If Seals does take the job I hope he can work for Johnson well. I have heard form the many teachers that it is very difficult.
  6. Johnson loves the attention this brings to him. So it will be awhile.
  7. Morristown East (4-7) Just can't seem to turn the corner.
  8. Carter shows what dropping a classification can do for a program. M-West has had a great come back year. William Blount has had some sucess in turning that program around. Knox Halls has had a good year at 7-3
  9. Lets sum it up quickly. Morristown West is head and shoulders above the rest right now. If they stay focused they will be playing Maryville again in the sub-state. Anyway you look at it they are the favorite and the best team in both regions. Does the best team always win, No. However they are the best if thats what you are looking for.
  10. East makes another early exit. At (4-6) I thought you over achieved for the year.
  11. My question is why does he commit to KY over Auburn ?
  12. If they mean squat then why do all colleges and NFL teams want to know what they are? Believe me they mean alot, along with other test that measure speed and strength. They also will look at game film, and watch you play. But size, strength and times attract them. And anyone 6'5", 260 and runs a 4.6 forty if they can tie their shoes they will make it big. Alot of highschool kids have 40 times that are blown way out. If a kid is this big and can play in highschool 4.8, 4.9 collegiate times will do.
  13. As things begin to shake out, it looks as if the 5 Rivers Conf. could be down again this year. With Morristown West the only team making improvement from last year. How do you rate it?? Overall conf. record 18-24 /w 11 of those wins from M'town West (6-0) and Daniel Boone (5-1) 2 teams in the conf. are at 0-6 Wins outside the conf. of the 18 wins only 8 come from outside the conf. and of those 8 ,5 come from lower classifications.
  14. This is not last year. Just what I think.
  15. Oak Ridge is not unbeatable, but I don't think anyone in their region can beat them.
  16. What happened? We don't need names.
  17. What happened? We don't need names. Why did the front office have to take care of it or was it address by the coaching staff also?
  18. No according to you to be successful at any job(gas station attendent) takes time from your family.
  19. What a difference a year makes or 1 game makes. I can remember last year when people were trying to get into the locker room to fight Meadows. Most said fire him now. Looking back sounds like not many were used to discipline. Discipline may make a difference. Maryville by 10
  20. Who has Carter played? We still don't know if they are a good team or not. Cocke Co. 0-4, South Doyle 1-3 ( win over Clinton), Claiborne Co. (speaks volumes,) and a adverage Pigeon Forge team at best. Could be a good game, I think that it will, East is not very good either. They are just trying to stay .500 this year. To say your first test will come a team that will struggle to finish .500 is not good.
  21. Oak Ridge by alot! It has nothing to do with the coaches, JC players can not match up with OR. And guess what, sometimes one group of kids are not as good of football players as another. All teams are not equal. Athleticism, Better Football Players!
  22. Congratulations to both schools, great job so far this season. I have to give the nod to Cumberland Gap. However, like you say throw the schedules out and get ready for a good game.
