I agree that South Doyle can win this game if they play hard. I hope they win ,too.

We're gonna have to play harder than you thin because they are gonna have reason to ruin our homecoming as we did theirs last year. They are gonna come out strong. I hope we do the same.

Jeff county will probly win which will help us after we get the win friday to Bearden.

Chris Johnson had 134 yards rushing and on TD. I know thats not much but he did it against a very good Sevier County defense.

This week in my opinion is even more important than last week. This is where we expected to be at this time in the season. 4-2 and its homecoming for us this week and a chance to get another region win and do something that noone has ever been able to do in the schools history. This game is going to take more preparation because they "owe us one". We went to Bearden last year and ruined their homecoming and they are going to try to ruin ours this year. We have to come out strong and "hit em hard and hit em often" as Coach Shouse would say. We need a good week of practice and put the win at Sevier behind us. GO COUGARS!!!

Well all I have to say for this game is that both the offense and defense took a step up tonight. Even though the scoreboard didn't show that the Offense stepped up, they did. Considering the size of the other team, they did excellent. And the Defense just dominated the game tonight The D held them to 150 (unofficial) total yards. And Chris Johnson had 134 yards rushing. The magic 5 seems to be in sight as we take on the Bearden Bulldogs this friday. I hope they are as ready as we are.

I see what you mean JKar but the coaching staff that has been here has done an exellent job at getting kids to play ball at the next level. Something that past coaches haven't ever done. And to be able to do that and all the other things that they do for our program is almost unheard of at Campbell County. Well thats how things used to be but not anymore. And for the kids that have played ball in college....There have been only 2 that I can think go to college and play ball and they didnt even stay through spring practice. But as for the kids at CC, over the past two years we have had 5 kids go to college and play ball. Colleges like Tennessee Tech(Zach Byrge), Cumberland(Chris Honeycutt), Tuscullum(Drew Russell, Morehead(Joe Morris), and Carson-Newman(Josh Nelson). So I don't think thats the whole reason. Like I said, I dont think they want to go the extra mile that we have gone...

I agree with JC4life about the player of the week because Chris Johnson had 304 all-purpose yards with 267 carries on 27 attempts with 2 TD's and caught a pass for 37 yards and a TD. He didnt even make honorable mention! I just dont get it.

It's simple, who wants to play for a losing team? Noone does but the ones who choose to stay are the ones that are dedicated to the program. The kids that go down I-75 just want an easy way out instead of working for something. We who have been here have said that we wanted to change things around since we were freshman in high school and thats what we intend on doing this year!

Well as far as I'm concerned, what we have been doing has been working for the passed two weeks so why change anything? No need to change up the game plan!

Campbell County will pull off an upset at Sevier County!!

I dont think that the Campbell County defense will give up close to 35 points. Jefferson County is a lot better team than Sevier County is. But Sevier County is still a great team. Like we've said before we will have to bring our A game in this one.....If Pate is hurt it will be hard for him to run at 100%. But I think t his will be a game of good backs...The Cougars can't wait till Friday. It should be a great great game

Chris Johnson from Campbell County is like that....Once he makes it passed the line he rarely gets caught...he has 737 yards in 5 games...thats pretty good...

What is Pate's condition on the game Friday if you all dont care to share?

No just after week 2, Week 3 was a case of turnovers and not playing to OUR potential. We weren't cocky at all that game. Campbell County isn't cocky by any means at all. We still haven't done anything spectacular yet! This game is the turning point in the season. I think it will be one heck of a game. And I agree that it is gonna be won up front.

All I have to say is that Scott better do better against Gibbs than they did Campbell County or they will get killed again...Scott has a great back but all they need to do is block for him...I'll take Scott County though on this one
