I have just completed reading this thread, and no offense to anyone that has posted, but if any of you know ptguard12 and they will post their opinion, pay very close attention to what they say. They are the best source on A ball in state. I am only interested in 1 game at this point 11:30 am, but will happily watch all the others, looking forward to seeing my buddies and hope to make some new ones

Top Backet looks to me as the toughest, but at this level they are all tough

That statement got my attention because I remember playing Central in the 1st round on Thursday, March 7, 2002, at 10:00 am. Central was AP # 1 with a record of 33-1 and Jackson County was 33-4, these were the 2 best teams in tournament and met in the first AA game. Jackson Co won 44-40 and went on to win the gold. Wish I could make it to this game but will have to settle for the radio. Good Luck to both teams.

Ok, The Coach, he sought and played tough competition during regular season in preparation for the post season, he found a way to make the girls believe they could win and pulled off the biggest upset in TC girls bb history and had them in position to play in region finals and a substate berth, when was the last time that happened? Some coaches bonus is the W's, some coaches bonus, depends on the hardware earned, I don't like to lose, but I'll take the hardware. Threepointshooter made an accusation that I hope is not true, I do not personally know this coach, I have only observed. Support him and TC girls bb will be at the top in 8A, it is good to have a successful football program, but you could have a successful girls bb program also. joker, sometimes one does not know what they have until it is gone, I know where your program has been and I can see where it is going, he is a winner and should be a keeper.

Agree CC is a hard place to play and are a very talented team,but tonight JC 6'4 post was out of town in a tragic family situation and her presence was missed. She was exactly where she needed to be, there will be other games. JC has already clinched the top seed, and the winner of Clay Co and Clarkrange will determine the 2 and 3 spots
