  1. WHAT IS UP WITH THE DEVILS.? THIS IS THE WORST TEAM I BELIEVE I HAVE EVER SEEN !!! THEY COULDNT CATCH A COLD! THEIR QUARTER BACK COULDNT THROW A BALL TO SAVE HIS LIFE MUCH LESS HIT THE BROAD SIDE OF A BARN ! I THINK THE COACH NEEDS TO GET A WAKE UP CALL AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS (TEAM) ! IF YOU WANNA SEE A FOOTBALL TEAM LOOK AT PORTLAND .

  3. They dont care. Let them debate on who's faster. I know of only a few that are legit, laser-timed 40s and there is not many of them. Just because you run a 4.4 in your backyard with the wind against your back, down a hill, and with your mother timing you does not mean you actually run a 4.4. And even if you did run a 4.4, that doesnt means that speed translates onto the field with equipment on, factor in heat and playing field conditions. C'Mon
  4. 2003 White House-Portland WH recovers a fumble on their own 20 yard line (give or take a few yards) with probably 2:00 minutes or less to play. Drive it down to Portlands 30 yard line where Gordon Keene throws a bomb to the endzone and Dwayne Gibbs catches it for the go-ahead score. Really incredible to watch the reaction of White House's fans when that happened.
  5. This article was pretty interesting to read. It talks about a NFL rookie who broke down in tears during a practice after being scorned at by the coaches. NFL Player in Tears Which brings me to my next comment. Are coaches being to hard on players or are players just becoming softer and more sensitive to being chastised? My personal opinion is that every player is different and different players require different motivational encouragment. Some players you have to almost physically abuse to get them to do what they are supposed to. Others, you can simply tell them what they are doing wrong and they will correct it themselves. What are your opinions?
  6. In a few weeks, White House travels to David Lipscomb for a scrimmage. Both are potential 3A champs, should be a good one. Any thoughts or predictions?
  7. Back to the topic, I think that White House will be fine at Quarterback. When you have a monster fullback, a Mr. Football candidate at tailback, some athletic recievers, and a solid defense, it can take some of the weight off his shoulders.
  8. The freshman QB you are refering to is Mathew Parker and he is more than capable of starting this fall. He is a young Levering plus he can move a whole lot better than Levering can. Mash and Parker will be battling for the spot. I'd say his chances of starting are about 60-40 in favor of Mash. He is something to watch. Seriously.
  9. Last year, White House-Rossview. WH is at the 3 yard line about to score. Levering hands it off to Ricky, there's a pile in front of him, so he leaps foward and does a complete flip into the endzone. There is a picture of it somewhere. Really incredible.
  10. In my opinion, Sycamore's offense is the exact opposite of White House's. Sycamore has 30+ formations and runs about 4 different run plays with a medium dose of passing. They pull guards and tackles, trying to get the linebackers to look in the backfield instead of reading the guards. They are ALL about misdirection and confusion and thats how they win, against undiscipline teams. The 2003 team, with all respect, couldnt get lined up to save its life. Last year they could, and see what happened. White House's offense is all about having 2 backs in the backfield with 1 or 2 split ends, and running down your throat until you like it. Totally different offenses, not even in the same time zones.
  11. Father to current starting QB at White House, Ryan Mash. He is also the head coach at the Middle school where they went undefeated last year.
  12. When will the pictures be accessable?
  13. It is way too early to tell. He doesnt know the system yet, haven't seen him in pads yet, too many questions yet to be answered to know if this guy will have an impact on the 2005 season. He is a soph., and I have seen him in person and I have seen him practice with the team. I think he could contribute, maybe even start.
  14. If i am not mistaken, there is a fetus coaching a school in Kentucky somewhere. I'd say thats pretty young, he or she is like -7 months old. Man I'm bored.
  15. Click on USA, then on football, let the page load. There is a rectangular-shaped box on bottom left corner with a stadium in it, click on it. It would be better to watch if you have DSL, cable, or broadband connection. Turn the sound all the way up to get the full effect. thumb
  16. Well said. Actually, the MLB (#54, Max Barrett) from last year, who lead the teams in tackles, now starts at defensive tackle. The coaches have said that he will be the best in the region and maybe even the state. The RB West now plays OLB with Wood at MLB and Mayhew at the other OLB. They will be the best LB corp in the region.
  17. How would you grade White House's performance? How did the defense look? How did the secondary look? How did Ricky do? How did the recievers do? What were the main problems the WH QB's were encountering; bad reads, poor throws, secondary was that good?
  18. @ Trousdale Co. They should be done by now.
  19. Gives me goosebumps just watching it. God I cant wait till the season starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Beech has moved down to 4A and their defense could be better if they find some lineman.
  21. White House is scrimmaging 1A power Trousdale Co. today. This will give an accurate measure of where to Blue Devils passing game will look like now that they have lost Levering. I will post information as soon as I hear it.
  22. Sumner County Champions? C'mon, now.
  23. The fullbacks dad is ALWAYS at The Awful Waffle. He is a great guy and supports his son and the team with everything he's got. His son, #29, is trying to Alabama to play, but I imagine he already told you that .That's Gordon Keene your thinking of. Did Herdon's lil' Bro start last year? What does he play?
