750-800 kids does not a 4a school that can compete with the likes of db and sh, just my opinion, the days you speak of when it was an honor to dress is gone, kids dont like to get beat up by schools 3 times their size. (enrollment)

the eliz game was a four inning SCRIMAGE

two good teams playing their hearts. it felt like a tournament game. unicoi is the better team , its a shame that the umpire wanted to be the most important (noticed) on the field. no matter who wins i think fans from both sides would have loved to seen the game end with a hit or a great defensive play. no preference who wins ---- just my opinion.

i agree with you that the coach is not always right. he/ she is not perfect, but fans / parents expect them to be. but coaching your child in high school can cause more problems with parents.

i see that as being close, but i will say that hampton looks better than in the past. looked better in the w. deer scrimage against s.north

this should be a school matter, none of us know what the reasons for not making the team were. maybe they did not attend all required practice or may have broken team rules.
