  1. Footballer19 is HOTTTTT not to mention my hero! HAHAHHA...for my opinion...McMinn wins. thumb Thanks to you-know-who for sticking up for me, you have no clue how thankful I am. And...IM SORRY
  2. I'm saying Holland DID start as a freshman because he was that good...I'm in McMinn's corner here!!!
  3. Since when did freshman games matter? Or even JV? What are you going to do...send your JV tapes to colleges?!?!?!? LMAO! WHO CARES ABOUT FRESHMAN GAMES? WHO CARES ABOUT JV GAMES? They're merely practice platforms...{PLUS IF YOU WERE ANY GOOD AS A FRESHMAN (McMinn...Holland) YOU WILL START ON V...EVEN AS SOPHOMORES...so if they're that good, they'd be playing...so yeah, you see your young talent, but to my recollection, I don't remember seeing a trophy awarded in Murfreesboro to the "STATE CHAMPION FRESHMAN TEAM"... And yes, TribeFan, that is the call I'm talking about...PITIFUL! HORRIBLE!
  4. Alright, let me see...if anyone remembers the MCHS/Ooltewah game from 2 years ago AT Ooltewah then they'll know what I am talking about when I say HOME COOKING. They (the officials) even ADMITTED IT WAS A WRONG CALL (not the first of many bad calls against McMinn at Ooltewah) and they actually USE the video tape of that game as what NOT to do in referee training. It was the most insane and costly officiating mistake I have seen in a long time. Not to mention some of the Oak Ridge calls, too...and those of you in 2 5-A know that in big games, penalities matter and can make or break you. (Trust me on this one...I heard it from an official himself). So don't even go there, McMinn gets penalized even when at home, last week against Cumberland Co. they were penalized 8 times on their OWN HOME FIELD. So home cooking, I dobut that.
  5. Wasn't Jake Simmons from Athens orginally? Just wondering...
  6. Man, this one is MCHS all the way! Even though they'll be playing without Nigel Holland (kind of like last year when they lost Trey Henry for that game) McMinn will win this one...Ooltewah is strong, but MCHS always finds ways to win. Hopefully the game-calling will not be as pitiful as it has been at Ooltewah in the past. It will be a great game-GO TRIBE. Oh, and what's up with all the Ooltewah TRASH TALKING??? C'mon guys, if I remember correctly, don't you have a game to win BEFORE McMinn? That's what I thought...keep ya head in the game...worry about McMinn next week.
  7. Here's my shot... 1. Tyner 2. Boyd-Buchanan 3. McMinn County 4. Ooltewah 5. LFO 6. Cleveland 7. Dalton 8. McCallie 9. East Ridge 10. Soddy-Daisy
  8. McMinn County has THE BEST field I have seen in the state? Has anyone seen the new format??? GREAT LOGO! (Glad to see they got rid of the MC). McMinn has a HUGE stadium (NOT CONCRETE OR DECREPID) that really packs the noise. It really is a huge place, and the visitors' side is just as nice. To look at it, it is hard to think that it is a high school football stadium.

    Craziest fans

Okay, first of all, let me say that ANY of the Region 2 5-A teams (and fans) are great. I would say that McMinn, Oak Ridge, and Ooltewah have the biggest fan support out there. I will agree that Riverdale has a HUGE HUGE fan factor (I saw them play Oak Ridge in the playoffs and the noise they produced was ungodly!). But, McMinn has HUGE HUGE HUGE parental support (those yellow jugs...GREAT) and their student section (TRIBEGUYS) are great. Either way you go, its gonna be loud. thumb
