The Real Truth

All I can say is great job to the Baylor guys for coming back out and putting theirselves into a postition to tie the game after a terrible first half. The missed extra point stinks but you cant rest all blame on that one play. Their were some mistakes made by Baylor in the play calling but after that got worked out Baylor came to play. Hopefully their will be a playoff meeting between these two in the near future

Baylor will win ecspecially with the emergeance of much needed defense back Mason Thomas. The guy has been ridiculous in picking off the quarterback 5 in the past two games. I think that McCallies quarterback will have a ROUGH time with the huge lineman like Simmons and McClendon coming at him. Baylor will shut down this quarterback and win this one in what might be a close game. Baylor-27 McCallie-14

Ok we got a big one this week, the annual Baylor vs. McCallie rivalry. This of course is always a huge rivarly but in the past few years McCallie has won all the games. This year hopefully will be different with Baylor coming off two big ones including what was a number one 5-0 team of MUS. Is Baylor going to finally pull off a win against the Tornadoes I hope so. What do you guys think.

As to the status of Braswell I dont think he is gonna be able to play he got hurt. And I dont know but every Baylor game besides Hixson has involved an upset. Baylor beat Boyd and like 90 percent of ppl picked Boyd. Webb handled Baylor pretty handily and Baylor got about 96 percent. So Im gonna hope for Baylor in this one but in my gut I know MBA is a very tough team to beat. So fingers crossed for Baylor but I know deep down its gonna take somethin special for them to win ecspecially if Courtneys not playing.

thanks ill pass it along and i gotta say i really underestimated webb and i didnt know that much about them. The running back number 35 could not be brought down. I gotta give props to webb for a well played game and overpowering baylor.

Yes Baylor is gonna be good this year and suprise many many ppl. The fact that u said boyd hung in the whole game. It was 14 nothing untill the last seconds of the half. Baylor has talent and I think got a little lax in the second half. Boyd has a good team no doubt but Baylor I think is a gonna be a force this season.

Ben how would u know he refused to swap film what r u a coach or somethin. kellen my bros number 60, JimBob the their were two basketball players that left. Marcus Jones tried to go to another school so he could start at quarterback. The TSSAA said he cant do that so they banned him from all sports and he played basketball. Then Trey Tindell got staff infection from his hurt back last year so he is staying home to play. Trey was an asset to the team with his shooting.

another good point kellen beating BGA isnt a good judge BUT Baylor beating last years state champs in their division if that isnt a good judge i dont know what is.And look if you guys think Baylor just has a running game ur mistaken. True they have a young quarterback but he made some good plays against Boyd and even better against Hixson. Alright I agree that Boyd will win because they have a very good team BUT i HAVE to disagree about Baylors win being luck. It was a hard fought match both ways and I thought both teams showed pretty much all their hearts. It could have gone either way but Baylor caught Boyd in a moment of weakness. This was no fluke if these teams ever met again it would continue to be a close game

Alright Jimbobcooter I mean come on your saying that Baylor only has a good runningback. This is crap if Ive ever heard it. Their line is stacked with a 6'2 260 pounder who is fast (Jake Simmons) and a 6'5 320 pounder who is fast (Shaques McClendon so if u think Webb can stop Courtney with that line your sadly mistaken.

If you guys are talking about experience Baylor DEFINITLY has the upper hand. you've got a crop of seniors that are awesome. Braswell, Simmons, Marks, Cash the list goes on and on and all these guys are spread out at different positions so Webb has no contest in this one.

Jake Simmons without a doubt is one of the best D and O line combination in the Southeast.The combination of Jake and Shaques McCLendon is the best in the state for D lines.

I played with Hunter Green when he was a 6th and 7th grader Ill tell you straight up the boy can play I have no idea how hes progressed but he won the state a couple of years ago and Ill be interested to see how far he goes. If neone knows hows hes been doing please post it.

Alright Baylor at Webb this Friday I dont see a contest after seeing Baylor prevail against Boyd. However I know nothing about Webb but I think it will take a really good team to beat Baylor this year.

Courtney Braswell for Baylor rushed for 206 yards on 24 carries with 3 td's. He played awesome with the help of the line. On D ill have to go with Jake Simmons you had to be at the game he pressured the quarterback at least 5 times and had 14 or 15 tackles overall
