Any predictions out there for the next 3 games?

Vaughn pitched last night and Thursday, I reckon he's got a rubberband in there because he threw well enough to win last night. Huntland was just a little better.

Next games; Cully vs Eagleville (Monday) Richland vs Moore County(Monday) Huntland vs Forrest (Tuesday) Should be good games. Congrat's to Cully you guy's are playing good baseball! Congrat's to Coach Tipps and team on getting that 20th win! keep going... one game at a time.

Great games today. 3 of 4 games decided by one run.... wow! Richland and Forrest ; Eagleville and Huntland; Moore County and Cornersville; Cully and Cascade. It's shaping up to be an exciting Saturday for round 2.

The Hornets can be as good as they want to be. They've had a solid year and are talented. If coach can get them to play together as a team and believe in each other ... the sky's the limit.

It's a shame that it can't just be about the kids. Both Managers are good guy's and both teams have talent. I've seen both teams play and Vincent is really the only difference. FC probably has more talent overall but CC has a good club and seem to play as a team better. I will predict a close game and the team that wins will be the one that makes the fewest mistakes. Good luck to both teams. Don't forget some of the seniors on the losing squad will never play organized baseball again. Pull for both teams to play their best game of the year.

What does that mean? Please explain.

How in the world is a school with 250 students expected to compete with a school that has 600?400 to 450 maybe. It would seem easier for the 600 student school to compete up than the small school. How did they arrive at the classification benchmarks? Why don't we have 4 classes instead of 3 or at least better parity than exist today? I'm sure Goodpasture and USJ are fine teams with excellent players, but it seems unfair with their size that they play single A.

Our tournament should be outstanding this year. Forrest has to be the favorite to advance, but two get to go. That second slot could be grabbed by several teams. Eagleville and Moore County start several seniors, Cascade and Huntland are both solid teams that are hungry. Richland will play well... they always do come tourney time. Let's play ball! Gonna be fun to watch.

Who are your top two Vultor?

It's all about money. The bat manufacturers and the lack of funding for High schools. The bat guy's sell millions of dollars each year. Wood bats break and replacing them wouldn't be cheap. Teaching defensive posture, post follow through is important.... but when it's your child toeing that rubber it's terrifying! I wish the TSSAA would take a bold stance NOW and protect our kids. When I see articles like this one, it makes me shiver.

Chapel Hill is the favorite to not only win the district, they are in position to win the region. Cully and Moore County are scrappy and on a given day when their opponents aren't throwing their number one, can beat anybody(except Forrest). Richland appears to be playing better, though seeding may hurt them and Cascade. When Graham pitches Cascade can beat anybody. Eagleville and Huntland will battle this week. Huntland also will play Richland this week one game. To end the week they play Forrest at home. Contrary to what others have posted, Huntland's #1 is tough when rested. Vaughn from Eagleville is also tough. Anybody's guess who will be #2. Seeding and pitching depth probably will play a huge role.

Jimmy pitched. It was 2 to 1 going into the bottom of the sixth. Forrest had 4 hits Huntland had 1. Minor was over powering and he didn't have his best stuff. Forrest probably had 5 or 6 earned runs. Pitching isn't what beat us, we didn't hit. Our only run was unearned. Their catcher had 2 of their four hits. He had a good game.

Hopefully it will be two well played games. Huntland absolutely knows how strong Forrest is. This series probably decides the number one seed in the tournament which is big! Although you guy's won it from the #2 spot last year. One thing others don't realize is how young both these two teams are. Huntland starts one senior and I don't think Forrest starts many either. Let's have good weather, good umpires and good sportsmanship from both teams and coaches. Good luck to both teams.

Mom197, Don't listen to that noise, we jumped on them 5 -0 right out of the gate the first game, their coach pulled his starters after the second inning. We didn't have the depth they did and ran out of pitching the second game. Cole and Davis had pitched Friday and Saturday complete games and Short (freshman) having pitched Saturday. They pitched 2-2-1 the Last game. JPll is a good team that is twice the size of Cascade and Huntland. We played 5 games going 4-1 they played 4 going 3-1. We all played Friday through Sunday, they played Sat and Sun., you can draw your own conclusions. We can compete with those guy's and would anytime anywhere. and so can Cascade.

Pageman and all the fine folks who have worked to put this tournamnet on; Nice job! The tournament has been on time and given the weather we had yall did a terrific job getting the field ready for play. Your fans have been gracious host's. Good luck to you guy's the remainder of the year!

The Hornets go 1-3 in the Worth invitational but are playing pretty good baseball. Blackman, Shelbyville, Coffee County and Beech all have good teams with good fans. We enjoyed all the games fella's. We start one senior, triple A versus single A wasn't as one sided as it probably should have been. Huntland has some talent and it showed this weekend. I only follow single A. Why Cole ? Why not... say KW who is being recruited by several schools. Probably Huntland's best player, a senior who's had a great year? Why did you and continue to single out the one kid? Have you seen tape or watched Huntland play?

Thank you. You just made my point for me. In your previous post you kept singling out one kid and I asked you previously to "please" stop doing that. If you were sincere with your comments, thank you. I believe recognition should be given to team and coaches. Not indiviuals without naming a few. The kids i mentioned all had a good game. I did, unintentionally leave out Corder, he had a great game as well. KW didn't play. Good lord willing we will have him back for the playoff's.

Look buddy I don't know who you are, but I have contacted coachT and requested assistance in getting this stuff stopped. I think you posts about Huntand are in poor taste and have mean intentions. The kid you keep singling out is one of 11 that play, on either side of the ball. I doubt you've ever even seen Huntland play. JC is pretty good footbal player, that's it. Reed, Taylor, McCowan, Simmons, Jones Ogle, Fanning and Hopkins were the stars of the show last night, I was there. Were you?
