  1. yes, weakest of the three areas.
  2. Riverdal is consistantly good, but they were loaded with senior starters. but then again being that good a lot of back ups got time against other teams firt string in the blowouts. i think next year the warriors will be human, i mean no thomashawk and company.
  3. Players will be i know. i am not currently in cookeville so i cant say if the fans are but i know there are some guys in that cookeville crowd dedicated to winning. Just get to cookeville early and eat at our fine dinning facilities (support the local economy) and enjoy a great basketball game.
  4. Cookeville is not a push over basketball team, we are much improved. if we are playing at potential it is gonna be harder than you think to come out with a win. we have got some play makers but are well spread and for a change have some depth, lots of sharp shooters on that bench. Example against shelbyville(very good team) we had a sophomore that would be like 10 if you put a depth chart out hit the 3 to put it into overtime. so watch out.
  5. Watch out, surprises are in store for siegel. our student section is slipping, no excuses but we still have been doind it for a while (like more than 2 years) so it will still be a good game in the best gym in the state between to opponents from the best district in the state.
  6. Siegel i know you guys love your gym, but look at the first post in the thread, the question is west tennessee. way to swarm at any chance you get, crazy hooligans
  7. Jerry Joslin of Cookeville. turned around the program and go them 2 region championships, and this years squad was the best in school history. 2 time tennessee titans coach of the week, and coached in the east west game a few years back. good man, great coach.
  8. Riverdale by a landslide. anyone know what the record for biggest points differential in state championship history is? but you rebels gotta believe in your team thats all that matters!
  9. Better get ready for a battle friday night.
  10. will be a close game but the thing about the shelbyville game was that everyone played solid. everyone put in time and helped even the sophomores. dont count cookeville out, they are more dynamic especially once the football players get in the swing of things.
  11. 10 guys? buty yeah cookeville does shoot lights out. and they can score in the paint with hodge, and hennigan can finish anywhere. go cavs!
  12. where do you go to find out ???
  13. the football boys are playing off the bench to get back in the flow. but they have showed they have depth with the lasy few games. so watch out and with the heavy hitters back it spells trouble for the jets. should be some nice upper cumberland fun.
  14. Way to go cavaliers. One of the best seasons ever. Thats something to be proud of. The seniors got 2 region titles and 3 varsity playoff appearances. Comeback strong next year and stay focused. GREAT YEAR!
  15. Guys lets keep it clean. riverdale has a tendency to talk and be caocky but thats not disrespect, it stinks for opposing players and angers them but thats just the more fuel cookeville needs.
  16. i Heard there could be like 10,000 people there to watch the "U of R" play the cavs
  17. No buts about it red raider, cookeville has a chance! and they are gonna push it to the limit.

    District 7 AAA

You hit the nail right on the head redthunder. Chemistry is something people over look. that and shooting is something cookeville can do and what will help get them some wins.
  19. Correction, Cookeville has a chance. there is always a chance upsets do happen. Come on people dont disrespect cookeville, if you think riverdale is gonna win, then fine. but dont say no chance, just say your prediction and why dont say the words no chance or impossible.
  20. Couldnt give you a percentage, i will admit it is low but thats only because gustopher paxton is so effective against most teams, you know if isnt broke dont fix it.
  21. your on vols#1, hold me too it i dont wanna forget i like being an uncle.
  22. Wow boro balla 06 you are a good man. i love my signature to much and the odds are not in my favor, i love the cavs as much if not more than everyone, thanks for representing us in a crazy bet, doesnt surprise me some one from sparta would pull some crap like riding riverdales coat tales for a bet. not even your team, next year vols#1 ill take that bet if you lay it down for your beloved white county warriors.
  23. To all those who say Cookeville is only capable of running 3 plays, that is incorrect. the fans who said cookeville runs it well, must not have played under the great jerry j. every week it is a new scheme. i played for 4 years and we never ran the jet, but last week they added it in to play to lebanon's weekness. if you look closely you realize they have more formations than just about any other team in the state. they create some of the craziest formations with like 9 lineman and people all over the place. and as for the cavs being a one trick pony and only running the ball, incorrect again. from the past teams when we would throw 3 times a game at most they definately throw it up a lot more. they are very capable. Ledford has almost a 1000 yards passing, may not be as much as many other teams, but since paxton has been red hot they havent had to throw, key thing is that they can though. they average a nice 15 yards a pass. Jerry Joslin is one of the smartest coachs in the game i am sure he knows he is gonna have to throw to beat the "u of r". so we will see what goes down, there are very few of us that are qualified to coach, so i think we should leave it to the men who gte paid for it. O yeah i dont think it is disrespectful for cookeville fans to pick a win. we all respect riverdale but at the same time have a great love for our team and our town. see you all friday.
