no chance in heck that denney has even somewhat of a good game vs siegel, he has shown us a large weakness, and that weakness is that he is not emotionally stable, he can't handle the nation and we get in his head and he cannot take it

your right, and it will be an awesome atmosphere, siegel should easily dominate down low, but as long as they keep pressure on the guards, i believe siegel will win by 6 or so, especially considering they will bring the loudest visiting crowd you have ever heard in your life, yes........even better than what cookeville brought to you guys last week!!!! i want a to see a sold out arena friday nite

i would be willing to put money on the line that Oakland's starting 5 is better than Riverdale's starting 5. With Oakland's starting 5 in, they held Siegel's starters, and even went ahead by 10 or so...When Riverdale played Siegel....Siegel's starters went up by 20 on them...you do the math

I feel very similar about the game at Oakland and the homecoming game. Siegel was outcoached...Whites Creek is not a team that should even come close to beating Siegel. The only advantage is their quickness..But the quickness of this team could have been downplayed with a different defensive strategy...what do you do to a team that has speed?...well i can tell you for sure that you dont press..not even half-court press...they'll run right around it...and they did.. If you are going to slow down a very fast team..you either play a tight man to man...or preferrably a 2-3 zone defense...making them shoot from the outside, instead of driving through the lane to hit an 8ft. jumper... Siegel definitely got outcoached against Whites Creek...but they also...lack of intensity hurt. Being outcoached, and a lack of intensity will almost ALWAYS end in a loss.

there is no way this can be a "battle of the nations"...blackman is not a nation...they never were...they could never be. The only reason they "think" they can have a nation, is because Siegel had one first....its incredible how much these guys from Blackman want their student section to be as large, unified, and incredible is the REAL Nation is...Siegel Nation!!!! Be ready Blackman...its gonna be a long night i still say Siegel by....umm...lets just say a "butt-load"

well ive read every single post on this thread...took me bout 20 min...and there are many things i would like to say. Oakland in general is not a classless school. they do have some classless fans..which most schools have. And some of their students made some wrong choices after the game...but what can you do? As far as the game...i say siegel is going to run the mess out of blackman. i can just feel it. Blackman will try to keep it close, and they will....with some big 3's. but i say a comfortable 12 point lead at the half...and second half its just gonna go downhill for blackman...the students will leave early so they wont miss the dance!! siegel by 18

Oakland is going to have to play with awesome intensity the whole game. they are definitely going to have to contain the outside shots...especially early in the game...they have to play 32 minutes of die-hard defense...and the offense is going to have to be extremely effective...i say oakland by 9 or more

AP polls have siegel ranked #1 in the state...not to mention the fact that at least 250 students show up to every home game...aint no place like the black hole!!

Lebanon has a big post player with tremendous athletic ability...theyre also going to have to hit some big outside shots...if Riverdale cant break the press for an easy lay-up, big 3's are going to have to rain down...go warriors

basically he gets ragged on because he runs his mouth too much...you dont see other players run their mouths as much as he does. if he wants an answer to give his brothers and sisters, it would be..."i talk too much trash to people, then cant back it up"....and thats it.

well sports fan...denney talks trash more than anyone, and apparently can't back it up when he plays the stars!! however, i do feel bad about the "its all your fault" cheer...you definitely cannot win or lose a game with one person...there are plenty of other people that should be able to back a player up, when he has a bad game. denney...keep ur head up...theres always more games...everyone has a bad one.

as a huge fan of basketball for a very long time, i have been around all types of refs. Yes, some refs officiate with a very large chip on their shoulder toward a player, coach, or team. but the majority of referees do not officiate like this. everyone is going to be mad at a ref when he calls a foul that you dont think is a foul. this has always been, and always will be. i hold nothing against referees, they make mistakes, they make bad calls, thats part of the game...deal with it..
