I mostly like to read the comments on here. Some are good and some are really good. Mr Mustang I would like to tell ya ----you are one strong Mustang! I will give you credit-- you know your Mustang football. I feel the same as you about playing the BIG RED of Lexington. We should play them instead of Dyer County. Them folks in Newbern don't know where H-town is! LOL Mustang Country is 1A now and should have been sooner! Each class is getting smaller but the Mustang Heart is Big and will show come August 2009 Nothing like the Heart of a Huntingdon Mustang Football Player! They will give it all no matter where or when or who they play. Go Mustangs! Playing Martin Westview is on my mind right now---can't get here soon enough!

I have been here all year. I stand by my comment. 2nd string needs time too! Chanps lead by example!

Huntingdon showed little class at the end of the game! They should have had the 2nd team out on field the last 5 minutes of the game. They also should have taken a knee on the 5 yard line with seconds on the clock. I'm a mustang fan from H-town and was not impressed. What goes around comes around. I was glad no one was hurt. All I can figure is the coaches wanted someone to notice the score in the paper or on coacht.

Every team in West Tenn. 2A football has a chance this year!! No clear team out there. Chester County beats Trenton , Trenton beats Milan, Milan beats Huntingdon. Huntingdon beat Chester County. PARITY!!!!!!!!!

Milan05 just got lucky, nothing more. Huntingdon is not a great team, in fact they are not even a good team at this moment in my eyes. They have alot of work to do from the coaches to the scout team. Milan got beat by Trenton, nuff said. I suggest the Mustangs get back to basics such as tackling!!

Huntingdon needs to play more players during the game so that in the 4th qtr. they have something left in the tank. The mustangs have some depth, and I think they will use it in the up coming games. Milan kept Walker on the side lines some so he wouldn't be gased. To answer the question of being over rated, "NO" these 2 schools are the best West Tn. has to offer.

This is my first post and this is a big question to me. I would like commments on this years team. Are they as good overall as last years team? In last Friday nights game they showed some championship quality by being down to Lexington and stayed the course to VICTORY! To me they seemed to play more as a team than last year. The players seem to be on a mission. They are not cockey or saying me.me.me! like some of last years team. Being an unselfess player and team player is a good quality to have when you have alot of talent as the Mustangs have. I don't know how far this team will go this year, but I do know they act and play as champions. Best of luck to the young men on this years MUSTANG TEAM !
